A crítica a esta escola filosófica inglesa foi seccionada em três partes. Em um primeiro momento, nomeado de Momento de precessão, ressaltamos a crítica ao Princípio de utilidade, pedra basilar do Utilitarismo, a partir do qual, de acordo com nossa interpretação, Nietzsche apresentou a teoria da Vontade de poder como contra-argumento. Em seguida, no Momento de sucessão, analisamos as críticas nietzschianas em relação às propostas utilitaristas que propunham um pretenso universalismo sobre a felicidade e o bem comum a serem agraciados. Tivemos o propósito de explicar que Nietzsche analisou-as como inviáveis neste sentido universal, e aquelas seriam apenas mais outra leitura da teleologia da moral ascética. E, por fim, no Momento de progressão, apresentamos a crítica nietzschiana aos princípios de Igualdade e Liberdade, pois como formulados pela escola inglesa, não passaram de instrumentos para consolidação dos valores ascéticos na modernidade.CAPESThis doctorate thesis argues that Nietzsche’s mature writings were shaped in significant measure by a dialogue with Utilitarianism of which Nietzsche was very critical. The critic to the English philosophic school is divided in three parts. First one, named Procession moment, it will highlight Nietzsche’s critique of the principle of utility, the basis of the Utilitarianism, by his theory of the will to power. Second, it will analyse Nietzsche’s criticism of the utilitarian propositions about happiness and the common good as lacking in universal applicability. Therefore, we ought to explain, to our purposes, that this approach, in the Nietzsche´s thought, has the intent to accuse those English thesis of being just an another formula provided by the teleology of the ascetical moral.
