Reinterpretando os efeitos do ambiente químico nos parâmetros de intensidades nas transições eletrônicas F-F. 2018. Tese (Doutorado em Química) – Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Recife, 2018.https://repositorio.ufpe.br/handle/123456789/36233MOURA JÚNIOR, Renaldo Tenório de, também é conhecido em citações bibliográficas por: MOURA JR, Renaldo Tenório deOs conceitos de polarizabilidade de recobrimento da ligação química (oP) e valência iônica específica () foram utilizados para caracterizar as ligações TR3+-átomo ligante em complexos (TR = Lantanídeos e Actinídeos). As propriedades fundamentais da ligação química, nomeadamente, distância de ligação , integral de recobrimento , constante de força , e a energia de excitação Δ, foram calculadas com sucesso para sistemas do tipo diatômico TR3+-átomo ligante sob influência do ambiente molecular. As g oP e foram utilizadas para reformular e reinterpretar as expressões dos mecanismos de dipolo elétrico forçado e acoplamento dinâmico responsáveis pelos parâmetros de intensidades f-f. Estes parâmetros foram calculados com este novo modelo para uma série de complexos do tipo [EuL3L´] (L = β-dicetonas, ácidos benzenosselenínico, íons nitratos e L´ = H2O, trifenilfosfinóxido, dibenzilsulfóxido, ortofenantrolina e 4,40-difenil-2,20-dipiridil), halogenetos de Er3+ (ErCl3, ErBr3 e ErI3) e íons An3+ em meio aquoso (An = U, Bk, Cf e Es). Os cálculos das contribuições do oP (covalência) para os parâmetros de intensidades [...] , mostraram que os indicadores de covalência são os parâmetros com = 4 e 6. Comparações entre resultados teóricos e experimentais sugerem que este novo modelo é confiável e é um importante passo para calcular as intensidades f-f livre de parâmetros ajustáveis. A hipersensibilidade das transições f–f foi outro conceito explorado neste trabalho. Variações do ambiente químico, seja por mudanças geométricas ou por propriedades físicas, mostraram que a hipersensibilidade não pode ser atribuída apenas ao parâmetro Ω2, como é sempre indicado na literatura. Alguns casos mostraram que, na verdade, o Ω2 é até insensível a tais mudanças. Estes resultados contrariam os conceitos qualitativos de que o parâmetro Ω2 é o indicador de covalência e hipersensibilidade do ambiente químico. Com a proposta de um modelo para obtenção dos [...] em sistemas centrossimétricos, foi possível fazer estimativas teóricas das taxas de transferência de energia não radiativas. Estes cálculos mostram a dominância do mecanismo quadrupolo-quadrupolo; este é um fato que contraria o conceito sobre a dominância do dipolo-dipolo na literatura.CNPqThe concepts of chemical bond overlap polarizability (oP ) and specific ionic valence () were used to characterize the RE3+-ligating atom bonds in complexes (RE = Lanthanides and Actinides). The underlying chemical bond properties, namely, bond distance , overlap integral , force constant , and the excitation energy Δ, were successfully calculate for the RE3+-ligating atom diatomic-like species under the influence of the molecular environment. The quantities oP and were used to reshape and reinterpret the expressions of the forced electric dipole and the dynamic coupling mechanisms responsible for the intensity parameters of f-f transitions. These parameters were calculated with this new model for a series of complexes of the type [3´ ] ( = β-diketones, benzeneseleninic acids, nitrates ions and = H2O, trimethylphosphine, dibenzylsulfoxide, orthophenanthroline and 4,40-diphenyl -2,20- dipyridyl), Er3+ halides (3 , 3 and 3) and An3+ ions in in aqueous medium ( = , , and ). The calculations of oP (covalency) contributions to the intensity parameters [...] showed that the indicator of covalence are the parameters with = 4 and 6. Comparisons between the theoretical and experimental results suggest that this new model is reliable and an important step towards an approach to calculate the f-f intensities free of adjustable parameters. The hypersensitivity of f-f transitions is another concept explored in this work. Variations of the chemical environment, either by geometric changes or by physical properties, showed that hypersensitivity cannot be attributed only to parameter Ω2, as is always indicated in the literature. Some cases have shown that, in fact, Ω2 is even insensitive to such changes. These results contradict the qualitative concepts that the parameter Ω2 is the indicator of covalence and hypersensitivity of the chemical environment. With the proposed model to obtain Ω in centrosymmetric systems, it was possible to make theoretical estimates of non-radiative energy transfer rates. These calculations show the dominance of the quadrupole-quadrupole mechanism; this is a fact that contradicts the concept on the dominance of the dipole-dipole in the literature.porUniversidade Federal de PernambucoPrograma de Pos Graduacao em QuimicaUFPEBrasilAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessQuímica inorgânicaQuímica teóricaPolarizabilidade de recobrimentoParâmetros de intensidadesReinterpretando os efeitos do ambiente químico nos parâmetros de intensidades nas transições eletrônicas F-Finfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/doctoralThesisdoutoradoreponame:Repositório Institucional da UFPEinstname:Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE)instacron:UFPECC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
