Assim, ao abordarmos sobre a internacionalização da Amazônia, significa que há um “jogo” político de países desenvolvidos, interessados na gerência territorial amazônica. O presente estudo teve como objetivo entender as concepções dos licenciandos de Biologia, Geografia e Pedagogia da Universidade Federal do Amazonas (UFAM) e da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) acerca da internacionalização da Amazônia. A pesquisa realizou entrevistas com 12 estudantes finalistas dos cursos de licenciaturas em Geografia, Pedagogia e Ciências Biológicas, distribuídos num total de 6 estudantes da UFAM e 6 estudantes da UFPE. A análise do corpus empírico teve como proposta a análise de conteúdo do tipo categorial (BARDIN, 2011). O estudo identificou quatro categorias: Amazônia Comercial: é compreendida pelo interesse econômico de outros países nos recursos amazônicos; Amazônia Responsável: a região é entendida como responsável pelo equilíbrio climático do planeta; Amazônia Protegida: deve ser defendida contra o desmatamento, extração ilegal de madeira e biopirataria; Educação Amazônica: é necessário desenvolver atividades de educação ambiental sobre as populações amazônicas, bem como a sua cultural local. Em suma, quando os estudantes pensam na Amazônia do ponto de vista da internacionalização, entende-a sob o ângulo econômico e político, os quais tem como tema central as características biofísicas da região.FAPEAMThe internationalization consists of the dispute for the shared sovereignty of a given territory. Thus, when addressing the Amazon internationalization, it means that there is a political “game” of developed countries, interested in the Amazon territorial management. The present study aimed to understand the concepts of undergraduate Biology, Geography and Pedagogy, from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) and Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), about the Amazon internationalization. The research conducted an interview with 12 finalist students of the undergraduate courses in Geography, Pedagogy and Biological Sciences, distributed in a total of 6 students from UFAM and 6 students from UFPE. The analysis of the empirical corpus proposed the analysis of content of the categorical type (BARDIN, 2011). The study identified four categories: Comercial Amazon, it is understood by the economic interest of other countries in the Amazon resources; Responsible Amazon, the region is understood to be responsible for the planet's climatic balance; Protected Amazon, must be defended against deforestation, illegal logging and biopiracy; Amazonian Education, it is necessary to develop environmental education activities about the Amazonian populations, as well as, their local culture.
