O objetivo geral desta tese é entender como são construídas e operadas as redes que influenciam a chegada e a permanência de venezuelanos e venezuelanas em Recife e Região Metropolitana. Para alcançar esse objetivo, foi necessário analisar quem são os venezuelanos que estão em Recife e região; identificar que redes são acessadas e construídas por essas pessoas, analisando como são formadas e quais elementos as compõem; e debater epistemológica e metodologicamente a noção de rede, problematizando-a teoricamente e a partir dos usos e compreensões que os interlocutores têm sobre este termo. Ao analisarmos como os próprios interlocutores utilizam o termo rede em campo, foi possível fazer aproximações com teorias sobre redes. Em campo, foi possível perceber uma forte presença de instituições nas redes de venezuelanos na região estudada, o que difere da forma como outras migrações se organizaram historicamente em Recife e em Pernambuco. Entretanto, percebeu-se que a assistência institucional prestada aos venezuelanos é precária. Além disso, mediante o diálogo entre campo e teoria também ganhou destaque a presença dos conflitos nas redes, além da solidariedade e seu caráter transnacional. Dessa forma, foi possível refletir também sobre a imobilidade e a grande securitização do movimento das pessoas.This thesis discusses the networks accessed by Venezuelans living in the metropolitan region of Recife. The general objective of this thesis is to understand how the networks influence in the arrival and in the permanence of Venezuelans in Recife and in the metropolitan region. To achieve this objective, it was necessary to analyze who the Venezuelans living in Recife and the region are; to identify which networks are accessed and constructed by these people, analyzing how they are formed and what elements compose them; and to debate epistemologically and methodologically the notion of network, problematizing it theoretically and based on the uses and understandings that the interlocutors have of the term network. By analyzing how the interlocutors themselves use the term network in the field, it was possible to make approximations with theories about networks. In the field, it was possible to perceive a strong presence of institutions in the networks of Venezuelans in the region studied, which differs from the way other migrations have been historically organized in Recife and Pernambuco. However, it was noted that the institutional assistance provided to Venezuelans is precarious. Furthermore, through the dialogue between field and theory, the presence of conflicts in networks was also highlighted, as well as solidarity and its transnational character.
