This research is about the collection from the Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul / FACFAR, that contains the scientific and technological heritage of this unit. FACFAR was founded in 1895 from the initiative of a pharmacists group who met on the "Sociedade União Farmacêutica de Porto Alegre", especially for this purpose. The main contribution of the elaboration on this research instrument is beyond this detailed list, wich allows some reflections about the scientific collection of objects gathered by FACFAR, such as: the potential as a document it offers to the History of Science; heritage policy of Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul; the brazilian scientific and technological situation; the consolidation of a formation process for the professional in pharmaceutical science in the city of Porto Alegre and their memory representation (CANDAU, 2011). This heritage formation and its inventory are analyzed from the development discourse of science and technological in Brazil, from notions of social construction heritage (PRATS, 1998), and the Heritage History (POULOT, 2008). Others procedures used for this research were basic principles of Museology and Oral History. At long last, this study intends to understand within the objects inventory, more than the own objects, is the relationship that a group can establish with them.
