No processo de produção textual seja de um texto fictício, histórico, biográfico ou ensaístico, o sujeito é confrontado com o mundo e tematiza-o. Retoma-se o conceito de mimesis, pensando na imprescindibilidade do operador representação, apenas deixando de confundi-lo com reduplicação pontual para compreendê-lo como apresentação. A mimesis neste caso passa a ser compreendida como uma rua de mão dupla, ela não só tira do mundo, mas também lhe entrega algo que ele não tinha antes. A reflexão sobre o sentido da relação entre a realidade e o mundo leva a repensar a concepção de sujeito, este assume a postura de figura sempre fraturada, apenas tomando consciência, ora maior, ora menor, de sua fragilidade. A presença constante do sujeito e sua valorização abrem caminho para a leitura do texto literário a partir de uma matriz autobiográfica. Objetivando analisar a produção literária de Stefan Zweig durante o exílio no Brasil, este estudo realiza o levantamento dos dados biográficos do autor, limitados a sua estada no Brasil e, a partir destes e da base teórica acima apresentada, uma leitura das obras Brasil: país do futuro e Xadrez na tentativa de integrá-las no conjunto de textos do autor e compreendendo-as através de mútuas imbricações e ressonâncias em função da verdade pessoal e vivencial do autor.Abstract: In contemporary literature, we are in a process of re-evaluating the relationship between reality and literature. In writing, be it fiction, history, biography or essay the character is confronted with the world and this becomes a topic.The concept of "mimesis" is retaken, thinking in the always present representation of reality, only letting it exchange with its duplication to understand it as a presentation. The "mimesis" in this case is being understood as "give and take", it not only takes something from the world, but also gives something to the world that wasn't there before. Reflexion over the sense of the relationship between reality and the world leaves us to re-think the concept of the character, who assumes the attitude of a person that is concious of always being divided, sometimes more, other times less, of his own fragility. The eternal presence of the character and its importance open the way for the reading of a literary text on the basis of an autobiographical level. With the goal to analyze the literary production of Stefan Zweig during his exile in Brazil, this thesis realizes the retrieval of his biographical datas, limited to his time in Brazil.
