Defesa : Curitiba, 16/08/2018Inclui referências: p. 109-115Área de concentração: Estudos literáriosResumo: Esta dissertação objetivou, antes de outras questões, revisitar alguns aspectos da trama, principalmente os relativos ao binômio casamento-morte, ao sacrifício feminino (ritual) e à mudança (???????? = metabolé) de pensamento da protagonista e demais personagens na tragédia Ifigênia em Áulis, de Eurípides. Para realizar tal intento procurou-se enfocar diferentes aspectos do conceito de uma das linhas de argumentação testada neste estudo: a palavra metabolé, traduzida justamente por mudança, alteração de um curso, presente em todo o andamento da peça. O estudo é oferecido a partir de uma divergência apontada neste estudo, questão que atravessa toda a análise feita: o final da obra. Na sequência, trata da relação entre os mitos de Helena e Ifigênia, explorando as razões do porquê a filha de Agamémnon foi sacrificada para que o rapto da esposa de Menelau fosse vingado. Na última parte, em função de propiciarmos uma recepção mais coetânea de Eurípides, é reavaliado o modo como o tragediógrafo de Salamina versa sobre as mulheres em suas peças, a partir da perspectiva da comédia em Aristófanes. O segundo capítulo versa, especificamente, sobre os ritos em si, em como operam. A narrativa apresenta, conforme já dito, um casamento que se transmuta em sacrifício de morte. Ao final, a morte supostamente não ocorre propriamente dizendo, pois existe a substituição da menina pela corsa. Os rituais, em Ifigênia em Áulis, estão particularizados por segredos, omissões, revelações, discussões, reconhecimentos. No labor desta pesquisa deu-se preferência ao alcance do contexto histórico assentado à luz da crítica - levando em conta uma metodologia que congrega uma análise hermenêutica do texto aliada a uma perspectiva histórica. Tal metodologia se coaduna com o instrumental teórico utilizado nesta dissertação, especialmente, quanto à hermenêutica e historicidade. Palavras-chave: Ifigênia em Áulis. Helena e Ifigênia (mitos).Abstract: This dissertation intended, before other issues, to revisit some aspects of the plot, especially those related to the marriage-death binomial, the female sacrifice (ritual) and the change (???????? = 'metabole') of the protagonist's thinking and other characters in "Iphigenia in Aulis", by Euripides. In order to accomplish this, we tried to focus on different aspects of the concept of one of the lines of argument tested in this study: the word 'metabole' translated in this case by turn, change of course, present throughout the course of the piece. The study is offered from a divergence pointed out in this study; an issue that goes through all the analysis done: the end of the work. In the sequence, it deals with the relation between the myths of Helen and Iphigenia, exploring the reasons why the daughter of Agamemnon was sacrificed so that the abduction of the wife of Menelau was avenged. In the latter part, in order to provide the most contemporaneous reception of Euripides, the way in which he deals with the women in their plays is reassessed, from the perspective of comedy in Aristophanes. The second chapter deals specifically with the rites themselves, how they operate. The narrative presents, as already said, a marriage that transmutes itself into a sacrifice of death. In the end, death supposedly does not occur properly saying, because there is the replacement of the girl for the doe. The rituals, in "Iphigenia in Aulis", are particularized by secrets, omissions, revelations, discussions, recognitions. In this work, preference was given to the reach of the historical context based on the critique - taking into account a methodology that brings together a hermeneutical analysis of the text allied to a historical perspective. Such methodology is in line with the theoretical tools used in this dissertation, especially regarding hermeneutics and historicity. Keywords: Iphigenia in Aulis.
