Defesa : Curitiba, 09/04/2002Inclui bibliografiaResumo : Camões é um típico poeta de seu tempo, ele é variado e múltiplo como o século XVI, mas sem tirar, de uma vez, os pés da Idade Média. Em sua obra, coexistem tradição e inovação, saber letrado e experiência vivida, mitologia e cristianismo, alegria e angústia, paixão carnal e idealismo amoroso. O poeta lembra a existência breve e atormentada do homem. A obra lírica revela, de um lado, a influência da tradição popular da Península Ibérica e, de outro, a influência de autores da Antigüidade, como Ovidio, Horácio, Virgílio, etc., e dos humanistas, como os italianos Petrarca e Sannazaro e os espanhóis, Boscán e Garcilaso. A presença marcante da tradição poética peninsular, em Camões, evidencia-se nas redondilhas, com seu humor, sua linguagem coloquial e seu realismo na representação de dramas sentimentais, retomando e enriquecendo a poesia do Cancioneiro Geral, na representação das tópicas das cantigas de amor e de amigo. A densidade da poesia lírica camoniana revela-se plenamente nos textos de inspiração renascentista em medida nova - nos sonetos, odes, canções, éclogas, etc. - aí está expressa sua constante reflexão sobre a vida humana, a análise do contraditório mundo dos sentimentos, principalmente o amor, o qual tem a manifestação platônica. Embora, se possa reconhecer as diversas influências recebidas por Camões, em sua obra lírica, não foi o poeta um simples imitador ou reprodutor de modelos, pois foi capaz de desenvolver, de modo criativo, temas comuns aos poetas de seu tempo, e até anteriores. Das características da poesia lírica camoniana, destacamos a visão idealizada da mulher, que, por influência, de Petrarca e do Neoplatonismo em circulação na época, é vista, diferentemente das redondilhas por exemplo, como um ser superior, encarnação, no mundo terreno do Amor, para representar o Amor Absoluto, que é purificado e livre das paixões carnais e cuja essência reside no mundo eterno e transcendental; daí a atitude de submissão e enlevo em relação à mulher. Entretanto, isso não impede que Camões fale da atração que o amor físico exerce sobre ele. Coexistindo, portanto, as duas concepções de Amor na lírica camoniana, que tem sua representação desenvolvida a partir da figura da mulher.Abstract : Camões is a typical poet of his time; he is miscellaneous and multiple like the 16th. Century, but he did not give his feet of the Meddle Age completely. There are in his work, in the same time, tradition and innovation, scholar culture and vivid experience, mythology and christianise, happiness and misery, passion and lovely idealism. The Poet remembers the brief and stricken existence of the man. The lyrical work reveals the influence of the popular tradition of the Iberian Peninsula. On the other hand, it reveals the influence of the authors of the Antiquity like Ovidio, Horário, Virgilio, etc, and the influence of the humanists like the Italians Petrarca and Sannazaro, or the Spanish Boscan and Garcillaso. The tradition of the poetic peninsular has the main mark presented in the old measure, with its humour, citizen language, and its realism to represent the sentimental dramas. So, and in the same time which it regained and became rich the topics of the love and friend chansons' of the poetry Cancioneiro Geral's. The density of the lyric poetry is showed fully in the texts that have the renaissance inspiration in new measure, as the sonnets, odes, chansons, eclogues, etc. In this texts is expressed the constant reflection about the human life, the contradictory analyse of feelings world's, mainly the love that has the platonic manifestation. It is possible to recognise the various influences in the Camões' lyrical work. However, the Poet was not a simple imitator or re-maker of the models, he was able to development, in a creative way, commons themes of the contemporary poets and so before this. In the lyrical poetry, we detached the ideal vision of the woman like a superior form, as influence of Petrarca and the neo-platonic in circulation in this the period, a re-fleshed in the overland world to present the absolute Love, that is purified and free of the fleshly passions and whose essence is in the eternal and transcendental world. Because of this, there is an attitude of the submission and devotion towards woman. However, this fact, do not arrest Camões to talk about the physical love and the attraction exerted over him.
