Defesa : Curitiba, 22/03/2024Inclui referênciasÁrea de concentração: AntropologiaResumo: O presente trabalho visa investigar a experiência das mulheres musicistas ao integrar bandas de rock no underground curitibano na perspectiva de três mulheres que narraram suas histórias de vida. Para situar o leitor nesse universo da música curitibana, utilizo o documentário "punks na cidade" realizado por Darwin Dias onde diversos atores sociais expõem suas participações na constituição do underground, contando suas histórias e lugares por onde circulavam na cidade. As musicistas entrevistadas integram o underground desde a década de 1990 até os dias atuais, estando em bandas, organizando eventos, festivais e participando de um projeto social de empoderamento de meninas, adolescentes, mulheres e pessoas não binárias através da música, o Rock Camp Curitiba. Através de entrevistas formais e informais, Acácia, Hortênsia e Violeta contam suas primeiras experiências com a música, com instrumentos, com a prática musical e os relacionamentos que foram constituindo ao longo de suas trajetórias. Durante os relatos orais, as interlocutoras expõem situações de reconhecimento, júbilo, contentamento, a importância da família e das amizades nos seus percursos, mas também retratam situações conflitos entre mulheres, de abusos e violências que passaram na cena musical curitibana. Evidenciam condicionantes específicos de seu gênero como maternidade, além do preconceito sofrido por ser LGBTQI+, a hostilidade por se relacionar com músicos locais e como agiram com o fim desses relacionamentos. Além disso, realizo um levantamento das bandas de autorias mistas, sendo metade homens e metade mulheres e majoritariamente compostas por mulheres a partir da década de 1990 até os dias atuais, que se encontra no anexo desse trabalho.Abstract: The aim of this paper is to investigate the experience of women musicians when they joined underground rock bands in Curitiba, from the perspective of three women who told their life stories. However, to situate the reader in this universe of music in Curitiba, I used the documentary "punks in the city", directed by Darwin Dias, in which various social actors explain their participation in the formation of the underground, telling their stories and the places where they circulated in the city. The musicians interviewed have been part of the underground from the 1990s to the present day, being in bands, organizing events, festivals and taking part in a social project to empower girls, teenagers, women and non-binary people through music, Rock Camp Curitiba. Through formal and informal interviews, Acácia, Hortênsia and Violeta recount their first experiences with music, instruments, musical practice, and the relationships they formed throughout their careers. During their oral accounts, the interlocutors describe situations of recognition, joy, contentment, the importance of family and friendships in their journeys, but they also portray situations of conflict between women, of abuse and violence that they experienced in the Curitiba music scene. They highlight genderspecific conditioning factors such as motherhood, as well as the prejudice they suffered for being LGBTQI+, the hostility they experienced when they had relationships with local musicians and how they acted when these relationships ended.
