Resumo: This paper investigates how can happen the direction of the photographic art practice from their daily practice and also how this interrelationship can contribute to the teaching of visual arts in schools, especially in high school. Therefore, the concepts of selfie, technical images and artistic and commercial photography will be used. Thus, it is made a reflection on the sociocultural context involved in the practice of the selfie, and a practice in the classroom involving the promotion, direction and encouragement to fruition, production and reflection of artistically designed photo. As a result , it has produced a blog through which photographic challenges were promoted ; recorded the contents of classes hypertextual form ; and released the artwork produced by the students during the course. In addition to the photographs, the students produced short films on the theme "Problematic of the indiscriminate use of selfimage in social networks ", based on discussions in class about art, media and society.

Para tanto, serão utilizados os conceitos de selfie, imagens técnicas e da fotografia artística e comercial. Nesse sentido, propõe-se uma reflexão sobre o contexto sociocultural envolvido na prática do selfie, e ainda práticas pedagógicas que envolvam a promoção, o direcionamento e o estímulo à fruição, produção e reflexão da fotografia pensada artisticamente. Como resultado, foi produzido um blog através do qual foram promovidos desafios fotográficos; registrados os conteúdos das aulas de forma hipertextual; e divulgados os trabalhos artísticos produzidos pelos alunos durante a disciplina.
