Resumo: The master's research entitled “OPEN THE CURTAINS: A theatrical montage as an inclusive pedagogical practice for Teaching Theater” aims to analyze the process of mounting a theatrical play, through a pedagogical practice that considers the participation of children with and without disabilities in a school context. The montage was linked to the school's Literature and Art Project, which this year honored the writer Ariano Suassuna. Each class were responsible for one of his works. The choice was made by the Portuguese Language and Art teachers, and the 9th graders received the play A Pena e a Lei. This study takes place in the municipal school Benvinda Nunes Teixeira, in the municipality of Guamaré/RN, in three 9th grade classes (A, B, and C), in the afternoon shift, but this analysis focuses on the 9th grade A class, which had thirty-one students, including two students with disabilities. Through this work, we saw that it is possible to use theatrical production as a pedagogical practice, involving students with and without disabilities throughout the process.

Through this work, we saw that it is possible to use theatrical production as a pedagogical practice, involving students with and without disabilities throughout the process.A pesquisa de mestrado intitulada “ABRAM-SE AS CORTINAS: Uma montagem teatral como prática pedagógica inclusiva para o Ensino de Teatro”, tem como objetivo analisar o processo de montagem de uma peça teatral, por intermédio de uma prática pedagógica que considere a participação de crianças com e sem deficiência em contexto escolar. A montagem estava ligada ao Projeto de Literatura e Arte da escola, que tinha como homenageado nesse ano o escritor Ariano Suassuna. Cada turma ficou responsável por uma de suas obras, a escolha foi feita pelas professoras de Língua Portuguesa e Arte e os 9º anos ficaram com a peça A Pena e a Lei. Esse estudo acontece na Escola Municipal Benvinda Nunes Teixeira, no município de Guamaré/RN, em três turmas de 9º ano (A, B e C), no turno vespertino, sendo que a análise se centra na turma do 9º A, a qual tinha trinta e um alunos, contando com duas alunas com deficiência.
