This research, based on the importance of publicity in the Legislative Branch for democratic strengthening, aims to evaluate the level of transparency of legislative activity on the portal of the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte (ALRN). The specific objectives include: describing the level of transparency of the Legislative Activity Category based on the Legislative Portals Transparency Index (ITPL); establishing the relationship between the criteria of availability, timeliness, plain language, historical series, and open data with the transparency of the portal's legislative activity; and providing technical recommendations for the ALRN based on the findings. This study is academically relevant due to the limited number of studies on this topic and has social impact by promoting parliamentary transparency. It is characterized as a case study with an applied, descriptive, quantitative, and documental approach. The results indicated that the ALRN portal exhibited a medium level of transparency (C) in the evaluated category. Moreover, it stood out positively for its plain language, while presenting critical results in the criteria of historical series and open data. As a practical contribution, a set of recommendations was submitted to the Legislative Assembly to enhance the transparency of the portal.
