Resumo: The waters, which move this research, are born in the desire to reflect about the language of clowning. We focus on the comical body and seek to investigate in him the potency for artistic creation, highlighting the research of the collective "Companhia dos Clownssicos". With this research, we aim to indicate creative possibilities of the comical body, seeking an organization that can generate a laughable state. For this, we navigate through the reverie grounds of a clownresearcher/actor, stirring up his water memories that have helped unravel the nature of the ancestral land that he inhabits, a land that transcends the sense of firmness and assumes a much more moving quality. We believe that a research on the clown universe in academic terms can give rise to a rich exchange of experiences, as well as sharpen and stimulate other artists to find their way of speaking, recording, and, above all, reflecting on their artistic work process. Finally, we work from the perspective of theatre as an encounter and study affections that permeate the liquid mask of the clown.

Colocamos o foco no corpo cômico e buscamos investigá-lo como potência para a criação artística pondo em evidência a pesquisa do coletivo paraibano ‘Companhia dos Clownssicos’. Objetivamos com este estudo apontar possibilidades criativas de descoberta deste corpo cômico buscando uma organicidade que desemboque num estado risível. Para isto, navegamos pelas terras-devaneios de um palhaço-pesquisAtor, agitando suas águas-memórias que têm nos auxiliado a desvendar a natureza da terra ancestral que nele habita, uma terra que transcende o sentido de firme e assume uma qualidade muito mais movediça. Acreditamos que uma pesquisa sobre o universo do palhaço no meio acadêmico pode suscitar uma rica troca de experiências, assim como aguçar e estimular outros artistas a encontrarem sua maneira de falar, registrar, e além de tudo, refletir sobre o seu processo de trabalho artístico.
