Da subalternidade à ressignificação: a (tecno) carnavalização à guisa da Web 2.0 em Stickers-Libras

The present work aims to take a new look at the digital aspect of Libras, from the perspective of Discourse Analysis, and specifically lends itself to analyzing the production, circulation and interpretation of stickers-Libras. Regarding the methodological path, we used digital ethnography as a background (HINE, 2004, 2016; VALLADA et al., 2022) and concerning the research locus, we opted for the WhatsApp social network, due to its being the most popular instant messaging network in Brazil. Thus, three groups were selected: (1) a group where the majority are deaf and LGBTQIAP+ subjects; (2) a group of Education professionals from several Brazilian states; and (3) a group of sympathizers for the left-wing policies in Brazil, with the common factor that all are users of Libras. The theoretical construct is based, primarily, on the epistemological tripartite: (techno) carnavalization, in the light of the Bakhtinian circle; digital resignification, biased by the Digital Discourse Analysis (DDA), proposed by Marie-Anne Paveau (2017, 2019, 2021); and with collations of Queer Studies in applied and indisciplinary linguistics (LOPES et al., 2022). Regarding the registration of the statements (technotexts) signaled in the stickers-Libras, screenshots made it possible to subsidize their analysis, with exceptions for the animated stickers-Libras statements that lacked more than one record and, in view of this, a hyperlink was inserted giving access to Youtube. In view of the data analysis, we observed that political-party issues stood out and influenced most of the technotexts. It is understood that this was due to the fact that their production and circulation were carried out in an election year chronotope (BAKHTIN, 2018). In summary, in this environment, we found that there was a recurrence of responsiveness through demeaning with the use of the low body and the grotesque, as well as counter-discourses resignifying cyberviolence or even a consensus between both. The linguistic manifestations of the appreciated technogenre were present in discursive performances – in a (reified), post-organic body –, entextualizing the other in a dialogical and dialectical relationship, entering the field of post-dualism.
