Resumo: Creativity and innovation are common words nowadays when it comes to facing changes which have become ordinary in the world scenery. The university, as an organization which is part of this context, is confronted with the need to adjust to today?s requirements, and the students are also affected and interested in forming a future favorable to them in resources, so they can be ready for a labour market that has become volatile. The possibility of creating a promissing professional future isconsidered from the knowledge they acquired in college, their academic trajetory and other resources that might have contributed to their improvement as candidates to the market.An environment that nourishes these conditions, with teachers who are stimulated in their creativity and innovation, wishing to contribute in a innovative, dynamic way, in the preparation of these youngsterswho get to university with so many expectations, is the idea that this research tried to verify while investigating the relation between the organizational enviroment in which the professors take part and the academic life of college students, wishing to explore these two basis and contribute to an empirical work in the scientific world. The educational unit, InstitutoTr?sRios da UniversidadeFederal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, constitutes the field for this exploratory investigation, the biblographic review approached the literature about scales of academic evaluation, defining the instrument to be used in the knowledge of students? reality, as the literatura of organizational climate, prioritizing the studies on climate favourable to creativity and innovation, following to the studies of climate scales of support to creativity and innovation.For this purpose, it was used Vendramini?s scale ? scale on evaluation of academic life (SEAL) et al. (2004) and Siegel and Kaemmerer?s (1978) SSSI (siegel scale of support for innovation). Students were determined with an enrollment from the 5th period, considered experienced in order to assess the course. The sample was for convenience. There was a relationship between these constructs, contributing this research with empirical data on the subject. This research also provided a comparative analysis of the courses offered by this unit, contributing as a management tool for those responsible for conducting the offices surveyed.

A unidade de ensino Instituto Tr?s Rios da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro constituiu o campo para esta investiga??o explorat?ria. A revis?o bibliogr?fica abordou a literatura sobre escalas de avalia??o da vida acad?mica, definindo o instrumento a ser utilizado no conhecimento da realidade estudantil, bem como a literatura de clima organizacional, priorizando os estudos de climas favor?veis ? criatividade e inova??o, partindo da? para o estudo das escalas de clima de suporte ? criatividade e inova??o sob a perspectiva de que o contexto organizacional contribui para a cria??o e inova??o. Foi utilizada a Escala de Avalia??o da Vida Acad?mica (EAVA) de Vendramini et al. (2004) e o Siegel Scale of Support for Innovation (SSSI) de Siegel e Kaemmerer (1978). Os estudantes foram definidos com matr?cula a partir do 5? per?odo, considerados experientes para poder avaliar o curso. A amostra foi por conveni?ncia. Observou-se uma rela??o entre os referidos construtos, contribuindo esta pesquisa com dados emp?ricos sobre o tema.
