The present study is circumscribed into the social movement?s field of study taking the June 2013 brazilian protests and its consequences as an object. On that subject, it intends to rebuild the facts that took place in the specific conjuncture so the political actions, social movements and characters from the political actions, actors and movements that emerged in that process. Political parties and workers syndicates used to be the main spaces in which the mediation between society and politics took place and had been put in doubt. Broadly speaking, tensions between autonomy and institutionality, hierarchy and horizontality, self-management and leadership, partisanship and nonpartisanship, marxism and anarchism, traditional political parties and decentralized autonomous organizations are exposed. Militancy?s engagement and political sociability?s ways of being become apparent due to these tensions. The theoretical construction of methodology is structured based on the Politics of Confrontation theory which provides conceptual and categorical basis for the object?s construction, as in repertoire, protests cycle, performance, inovation, diffusion, mediation. The literature produced about the June 2013 protests covers the contextualization and discussion of them and social movement?s theoretical discussion supports the problem construction and the research hypothesis. Methodology is structured by two dimensions: observations in loco and interviews with the protest?s participants. Thus, considering the analysis made, a map of the events is put together according to social movements, groups and individual?s political practices and uses in Rio de Janeiro?s June 2013 protest?s conjuncture.
