Resumo: This paper aims to analyze how Carioca newspapers constructed the representation of Nazi ideology and the image of Hitler in decisive moments of the Nazi party's escalation to power. Thus, it will be analyzed chronologically, as the Rio press receives, interprets and divulges the Nazi ideology and the image of Hitler, from three newspapers of great circulation in Rio de Janeiro: Correio da Manh?, Jornal do Brasil and Di?rio de Not?cias in the period which goes from the beginning of 1932 until the end of 1936. In that time, emphasis will be placed on the German events that have been more prominent in the Rio press, so the German presidential elections in the months of March and April 1932, through the "Night of the Long Knives" and the death of the German President Hindenburg that took place in 1934, and also passing through March 1936 when Germany decided that it would no longer comply with the treaties of Versailles and Locarno, the remilitarization of the Rhineland, trying to understand the press and its different approaches on the issue.

Assim, ser? analisado cronologicamente, como a imprensa carioca recepciona, interpreta e divulga a ideologia nazista e a imagem de Hitler, a partir de tr?s jornais de grande circula??o no Rio de Janeiro: Correio da Manh?, Jornal do Brasil e Di?rio de Not?cias no per?odo que vai de in?cio de 1932 e vai at? o final do ano de 1936.
