Resumo: This dissertation addresses the issue of historical heritage from the perspective of marginalized groups. The analysis uses concepts from sociology and archaeology to observe and discuss topics that have not been tackled by archaeological studies for years. It expands and questions the definition of heritage adopted by the State and often by the academy. It follows decolonial writing and language, employing important concepts elaborated by black women and men in the Americas. The work is based on the notions of urban archaeology, amefricanity, aquilombamento, and intersectionality. The scientific novelty that the research addresses is that archaeology, in general, has had little participation in the Afro-reparation debates since the structure in which we are inserted makes the discipline contribute to theexclusion and silencing of that heritage which is made invisible. The work presents the historical context of the city of Porto Velho (state of Rondônia, Brazil), which is the chosen space and territory for the present research, based on the mapping of cultural heritage (central and peripheral urban materialities) that identifies Amefrican human collectives, in places called aquilombamentos.

A análise visa trazer conceitos que são utilizados pela sociologia e arqueologia a fim de observar e debater questões não enfrentadas pelos estudos arqueológicos durante anos. Amplia e questiona a definição de patrimônio adotada pelo Estado e muitas vezes pela academia. Opta por seguir uma escrita e linguagem decolonial, trabalhando importantes conceitos elaborados por mulheres e homens negres nas Américas. O trabalho parte das noções de arqueologia urbana, amefricanidade, aquilombamento e interseccionalidade. A novidade científica que a pesquisa pretende abordar é a de que a arqueologia, no geral, pouco tem participado nos debates de afrorreparação, já que a estrutura em que estamos inseridos faz com que a disciplina contribua para a exclusão e silenciamento de patrimônios invisibilizados.
