Resumo: Introduction: The number of Physical Education classrooms is diverse throughout the country, potentially influencing the lifestyle of adolescents. This study aims to identify the associations between Physical Education classrooms and their benefits in Brazilian adolescents. Methods: The model “B” was used in accordance with the program, where there is a detailed introduction, two chapters (article 1 and article 2) and final considerations. Study 1 is an opinion article and study 2 is a descriptive study, with transversal delineation, that uses the secondary data of the National Adolescent Health Research 2019, in the analysis of two data, descriptive statistics and binary logistic regression are used. Results: Study 1: The benefits associated with Physical Education classrooms in schools are presented in literature, ranging from greater individual autonomy to increased motor skills, including increased predisposition to acquire healthy habits. The Physical Education classrooms in Brazil go through various types of problems, ranging from the lack of a guiding document that determines the number of classrooms per week, the number of contents and the lack of infrastructure and materials suitable for intervention. The objective of this article is to present and discuss the importance of Physical Education and physical activity in the school space. Study 2: Female students (OR=0.96; 95% CI= 0.94; 0.99), “No whites” (OR = 0.79; 95% CI = 0.78; 0.81), older children (OR=0.96; 95% CI= 0.96; 0.97) ), from public schools (OR=0.53; 95%CI=0.52; 0.54), from middle school (OR=0.38; 95%CI= 0.36; 0.39), and with more hours in sedentary behavior (OR=0.98; 95%CI= 0.98 ; 0.99), they present reduced chances of participating in two or more Physical Education classrooms/week. Adolescents classified as “active” (OR=1.88; 95%CI=1.83; 1.93) have increased chances of participating in weekly Physical Education classrooms. Conclusion: The number of school Physical Education classrooms must be regulated throughout the national territory, with a minimum of three classrooms per week, following international recommendations. Just like, what public policies are established aiming at the better the two localities available, and the implements of materials conducive to the practice of discipline, making it easier for the adolescents to have better their habits
