Resumo: This thesis explores an investigation into the Civil Police delegates of Sergipe affiliated with the Department of Crimes against Tax and Public Administration (DEOTAP). The objective is to comprehend how the Precinct Chiefs involved in combating corruption in Sergipe acquired specific social capitals, thus shaping their professional trajectories in the political landscape of Sergipe and within the expanding legal field. The study is presented through a systematic analysis of the Precinct Chiefs profession, highlighting the dynamics involved in the fight against corruption in the Sergipe judiciary and how this cause is assimilated by the Precinct Chiefs who led task forces in the state of Sergipe, both in their law enforcement roles and as a political agenda.
