A construção da notícia em cordel: uma abordagem folkcomunicacional sobre a poesia popular como linguagem jornalística na TV

Resumo: This research aims to observe, from the perspective of folkcommunication studies, how cordel literature is appropriated by journalism in current television productions. The work intends to show how this connection between the two elements has been working in the audiovisual, in which popular poetry is used as a tool for experimenting with language in TV reports, seeking alternative means to report stories, more to entertain than to inform. Infotainment concepts, which study the boundaries between information and entertainment, will also serve as a basis for reflection on this process. Folkcomunication carefully studied the historical relationship between cordel and journalism, when cordel books served as a powerful information mean, bringing the main events to an audience that did not have access to traditional media. The work will advance in these studies by verifying how this new intersection operates, through the analysis of articles of the genre broadcast on Rede Globo, Globo Recife, Verdes Mares and TV Sergipe between the years 2015 and 2023, in which a greater recurrence of the format in TV reports, especially in the sports section, which is avant-garde in terms of format diversification. Finally, the aim is to unravel how the construction of news operates in such television reports.

O trabalho pretende mostrar como vem funcionando essa conexão entre os dois elementos no audiovisual, em que a poesia popular é utilizada como ferramenta de experimentação de linguagem em reportagens de TV, buscando meios alternativos para reportar histórias, mais para entreter do que propriamente informar. Os conceitos do infotenimento, que estuda as fronteiras entre informação e entretenimento, também vão servir como base de reflexão sobre esse processo. A folkcomunicação estudou detidamente a relação histórica entre cordel e jornalismo, quando os livretos serviam como poderoso veículo informativo, levando os principais acontecimentos a um público que não tinha acesso aos meios de comunicação tradicionais. O trabalho pretende avançar nesses estudos verificando como se opera esse novo entrecruzamento, através da análise de matérias do gênero veiculadas na Rede Globo, Globo Recife, Verdes Mares e TV Sergipe entre os anos de 2015 e 2023, em que se constatou uma maior recorrência do formato nas reportagens de TV, sobretudo na editoria de esportes, vanguardista em termos de diversificação de formatos.
