Produção da alface crespa e umidade do solo em função de diferentes fontes de matéria orgânica e cobertura do solo

Resumo: The general objective of this work was to evaluate the development of the lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) under different organic seasoning sources and the specific objectives had been to verify the influence of some sources of organic substance in the fertilization of the lettuce, to verify the thermal amplitude in function of the covering of the ground and organic fertilization and to verify the influence of the covering of the ground and the organic substance in the water retention in the ground. The work was carried through in the experimental area of the Pequeno Produtor Grande Empreendedor of the Gbarbosa Institute in partnership with the Federal University of situated Sergipe in the city of located Itabaiana the 56 kilometers of the Capital, Aracaju. The used delineation was of blocks casualizados with four repetitions, being the treatments composites of five sources of organic substance (compost, chicken manure, cattle manure, sheep manure and castor bean) and a witness without fertilization all with and without covering deceased totalizing 12 treatments. The characteristics of diameter of the plant, height of plant, cool and dry substance of root and aerial part had been evaluated, water tension of the ground and temperature of the ground. For determination of the water tension they had been installed tensiometers in the ground and the temperatures had been measured with the use of digital thermometer. The treatment that had as source of organic substance chicken manure presented optimum resulted when associated to the covering deceased of the ground. When not to exist the possibility of the use of the covering of the ground is recommended the use of the organic composition as organic seasoning source. When it was used covering of the ground got lesser values of water tension in the ground. It had trend of lesser temperatures when covering of the ground was used and greaters temperatures when castor bean was used.

It had trend of lesser temperatures when covering of the ground was used and greaters temperatures when castor bean was used.O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi avaliar o desenvolvimento da alface (Lactuca sativa L.) sob diferentes fontes de adubos orgânicos e os objetivos específicos foram verificar a influência de várias fontes de matéria orgânica na adubação da alface, verificar a amplitude térmica em função da cobertura do solo e adubação orgânica e verificar a influência da cobertura do solo e da matéria orgânica na retenção de água no solo. O trabalho foi realizado na área experimental do Projeto Pequeno Produtor Grande Empreendedor do Instituto Gbarbosa em parceria com a Universidade Federal de Sergipe situada no município de Itabaiana localizada a 56 quilômetros da Capital, Aracaju. O delineamento utilizado foi de blocos casualizados com quatro repetições, sendo os tratamentos compostos de cinco fontes de matéria orgânica (composto orgânico, esterco de aves, esterco bovino, esterco ovino e torta de mamona) e uma testemunha sem adubação todos com e sem cobertura morta totalizando 12 tratamentos. Foram avaliadas as características de diâmetro da planta, altura de planta, matéria fresca e seca de raiz e parte aérea, tensão de água do solo e temperatura do solo. Para determinação da tensão de água foram instalados tensiômetros no solo e as temperaturas foram medidas com a utilização de termômetro digital. O tratamento que teve como fonte de matéria orgânica o esterco de aves apresentou o melhor resultado quando associado à cobertura morta do solo. Quando não existir a possibilidade do uso da cobertura do solo é recomendada a utilização do composto orgânico como fonte de adubo orgânico. Quando utilizou-se a cobertura do solo obteve-se menores valores de tensão de água no solo.
