With the advancement of organizational studies, there is a growing need to seek new ontological, epistemological, theoretical, and methodological contributions to broaden and deepen knowledge about organizational phenomena. In this context, Practice-Based Studies (EBP) emerge as an approach that has aroused the interest of several researchers, including in Brazil. According to this perspective, an organization is not only about people, their actions, relationships and interactions, it goes beyond that, also involving objects and material arrangements that play a fundamental role in the development of organizational practices. The research is based on the understanding that organizations are not fixed entities, but continuous processes that emerge from the interactions between people, artifacts and the sociocultural context. In this line, the June festivals, as popular cultural manifestations, are configured as a relevant research object for the area of organizational studies, highlighting their various elements and symbols, especially when analyzed from the perspective of organizing, which conceives organizations as constant constructions of actors, their practices and interpretations. In view of this, this research aims to understand organizational practices from the perspective of organizing in Sergipe June festivals. It is characterized as qualitative, exploratory-descriptive and based on the interpretative approach. In addition, the selected cases are the June festivals of Estância and Rua São João. Data collection included documentary analysis, non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews, with the analysis being carried out using the life history technique. The findings of the research show that the June festivals operate as dynamic spaces of organization, in which traditional practices are intertwined with new forms of management, entrepreneurship and cultural adaptation. The study also points out that, although tradition is a fundamental element for the identity of the festivals, there is a constant need for innovation to ensure their continuity. Organizational practices involve a complex network of actors, including local communities, entrepreneurs, artists, and public managers, each playing a role in maintaining and reinventing these celebrations. This work offers a significant contribution both to the academic world and to the professionals and enthusiasts of the June festivals, by taking an in-depth look at how these events are organized and resignified over time. Its limitations involve the accessibility and disposition of the interviewees, the geographical scope and the subjectivity present in the life history.
