O Instagram como instrumento informacional das graduações do CCSA/UFS

Resumo: This study analyzes the use of Instagram as an information tool in programs at the Center for Social and Applied Sciences at the Federal University of Sergipe (CCSA/UFS). Considering the growth of Digital Social Networks (DSN) as spaces for communication and information mediation, the study reflects on how this platform can contribute to academic dynamics within the new information regime driven by new societal arrangements descending from cyberculture processes. The methodology used includes a review of scientometric and narrative literature, a SWOT analysis of the empirical field, and the development of a technological product: Arandu, an application focused on information mediation in educational and non-educational environments. The results indicate that Instagram, like other DSNs, when used strategically and for educational purposes, enhances interaction between students, faculty, and the academic community, fostering the dissemination of information and the collaborative construction of knowledge.

Considerando o crescimento das Redes Sociais Digitais (RSD) como espaços de comunicação e mediação da informação, o estudo reflete como essa plataforma pode contribuir para a dinâmica acadêmica dentro do novo regime informacional impulsionado pelos novos arranjos societários descendentes dos processos da cibercultura. A metodologia utilizada inclui revisão de literatura cientométrica e narrativa, análise SWOT do campo empírico e a elaboração de um produto tecnológico: o Arandu, um aplicativo voltado à mediação da informação em ambientes didáticos e paradidáticos.
