The present work, developed for this thesis, brings to light the idea of how it is possible to seek an evolution without necessarily having so many losses. Providing continuity to the work started in the master's degree at Prodema/SE, entitled Evaluation of the Involvement of construction companies in the sustainable process of civil construction in Aracaju-SE, defended in 2018, whose main objective was to evaluate some construction companies and their involvement in the area of sustainability, their forms and construction processes directly linked to the architectural project, showing the importance of involving sustainable thinking, having achieved the result that it is necessary to reflect on the relationship between education and the environment, or rather, even if redundant, between education and the socio- environment, but without forget the multiple relationships existing between this and education, between teaching and learning. The related research has as main objective of the research to verify the level of sustainability of the construction companies with more performance in the Aracaju market using social, environmental and economic indicators based on the Sustainability Guide of the Construction Industry Chamber. As for the specific objectives, the determination of the sustainability index of the most active construction companies in the Aracaju market, the identification of the reasons why the construction companies do not offer properties with more sustainable processes and the determination of actions that can raise the level of sustainability of the construction companies were listed. in the Aracaju market. The research, with a qualitative/quantitative and exploratory-descriptive approach, was carried out through the analysis of online questionnaires, interviews and document analysis. It was organized through the structure of two articles which, respectively, first bring the research developed and its results, analyzing it with a qualitative character and the second applying the Calório formula bringing a quantitative analysis and bringing as results an adequate index of sustainability which will be presented allowing high ideas in the last section, final considerations, on how to achieve a quantitative and qualitative increase in this index.
