Resumo: The initial development of soybeans in Brazil was strongly supported by the development of technology that enabled the increased cultivation area, among which stands out the production of high quality seeds. We study and address the factors that contribute to maintaining a good vigor and germination in seeds produced increasingly necessary. Mechanical damage is one of the limiting factors to the production of soybeans. Because of mechanized activities during harvesting, processing, storage, transportation and planting operations, the seeds are subject to a number of injuries, reflecting the decrease in germination and vigor. Given the above, the objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of foliar application of Ca in reducing mechanical damage through the integument of the stamina and the physiological quality and productivity of soybean seeds. The seeds were submitted the following calcium foliar treatments: 1) 0.139 g of CaCl / 2 100 mL) 0.279 g of CaCl / 100 mL 3) CaCl 1,39g / 100ml 4) 2.79 g of CaCl / 100 ml 5 ) witness. After were made analysis of physiologic and mechanical damage, chemical analysis (Ca content) and productivity. The design used the field was randomized blocks and completely randomized design lab, the regression was done by Sisvar. Concludes program that the application of foliar calcium decreases the incidence of mechanical damage, as well as, improve seed quality and has a positive effect on yield components, however, varies depending on the soybean cultivar and calcium dose.

Dessa forma, se faz necessário estudos mais detalhados aos fatores que contribuem para manter um elevado padrão de vigor e germinação nas sementes produzidas. O dano mecânico constitui um dos fatores limitantes à produção de sementes de soja. Em função de atividades mecanizadas durante a colheita, beneficiamento, armazenamento, transporte e operações de semeadura, as sementes estão sujeitas a uma série de injúrias, refletindo na diminuição do poder germinativo e vigor. Diante do exposto, o objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a eficiência da aplicação foliar do Ca na redução do dano mecânico, através da resistência do tegumento e a qualidade fisiológica e produtividade das sementes de soja. As sementes foram submentidas aos seguintes tratamentos foliares de cálcio: 1) 0,139 g de CaCl/100 mL de água, 2) 0,279 g de CaCl/100 mL, 3) 1,39g de CaCl/ 100mL, 4)2,79 g de CaCl/100 mL e 5) testemunha. Posteriormente foram feitas análises da qualidade fisiológica e dano mecânico, análise química (teor Ca) e produtividade. O delineamento estatístico utilizado a campo foi blocos ao acaso e no laboratório delineamento inteiramente casualizado. Para os dados quantitativos, utilizou-se a regressão. Conclui-se que a aplicação de cálcio via foliar diminui a incidência de danos mecânicos, bem como, melhora a qualidade fisiológica das sementes e tem efeito positivo nos componentes de rendimento, entretanto, varia em função da cultivar de soja e dose de cálcio utilizadaCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências RuraisPrograma de Pós-Graduação em AgronomiaUFSMBrasilAgronomiaAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessTegumentoDano mecânicoGlycine maxIntegumentMechanical damageCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::AGRONOMIAAplicação foliar de cálcio, qualidade fisiológica, produtividade e resistência do tegumento das sementes de soja a danos mecânicosApplication leaf calcium, physiological quality, productivity and integument of resistance of soybean seeds a mechanical damageinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisNunes, Ubirajara Russihttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8937125213120268Medeiros, Sandro Luis PetterLima, Bento Alvenir Dornelles dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/7338825371276378Cabrera, Ingrid Cervo50010000000960060060060060012080917-489d-4b6b-bff6-7445a0419a3e7501afa6-e694-4193-bc20-d4c3a4ce45c138445538-aeac-4911-b26a-c3b65d0dfe29101f3d2c-a34c-426d-babb-d77039bb6011reponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGAGRONOMIA_2016_CABRERA_INGRID.pdfDIS_PPGAGRONOMIA_2016_CABRERA_INGRID.pdfDissertaçãoapplication/pdf1509216http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/21660/1/DIS_PPGAGRONOMIA_2016_CABRERA_INGRID.pdfc7e6a8a6bd03a38dea08298e1c209473MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
