Resumo: | In order to observe territorial forms that cross Latin America, this work has as its main object of analysis the territorial dynamics developed in the fictional universe of the narrative Distancia de rescate (2014), by the Argentine writer Samanta Schweblin. However, to give horizontality to the Latin American territorial perception, two brief literary analyses are included embracing De gados e homens (2013), by the Brazilian writer Ana Paula Maia, and Temporada de huracanes (2017), by the Mexican writer Fernanda Melchor. In the composition of master thesis, the theoretical foundation on the concepts of territory and deterritorialization is conducted from studies by the geographer Rogério Haesbaert, in particular his book O mito da desterritorialização: do “fim dos territórios” à multiterritorialidade (2011). In the aftermath, we seek to understand what is comprehended as Latin America, having as a critical basis essays by Walter Mignolo (2005), and Darcy Ribeiro (1986), and the context of current literary production, where the analysed narratives are situated, especially from the considerations by Josefina Ludmer (2013), Florencia Garramuño (2014), and Alberto Giordano (2010). For the analysis of Distancia de rescate, studies by Leone (2016, 2017) on Argentinean rural imaginary are essential supports, since the book presents a problem that involves the relationship between human being and natural environment of the pampa gaúcho, in which Capitalist market actions are evidenced that violate the countryside ecosystem and transform the ways of being in this territory into corruption. Thus, in the end, the outline of a hostile zone for human life is perceived, which causes the erasure of the identification of some subjects with the territory and deforms those who persist in living there. As for Latin American territorialities, the three novels trace territories that suffer from the absence of State power, the presence of capitalist enterprises in rural regions, forms of violence in private and public daily life, forces that corrupt the humanity of the subjects and with the melancholy of a prediction of a perverse and increasingly excluding future. |

Entretanto, a fim de dar horizontalidade à percepção territorial latino-americano, duas breves análises literárias são incluídas: De gados e homens (2013), da escritora brasileira Ana Paula Maia; e Temporada de huracanes (2017), da escritora mexicana Fernanda Melchor. Na composição da dissertação, a fundamentação teórica em torno das noções de território e desterritorialização é realizada a partir dos estudos do geógrafo Rogério Haesbaert, em especial do seu livro O mito da desterritorialização: do “fim dos territórios” à multiterritorialidade (2011). Na sequência, busca-se entender o que se compreende como América Latina, tendo como base crítica os ensaios de Walter Mignolo (2005) e Darcy Ribeiro (1986), e o contexto de produção literária atual, em que se localizam as narrativas analisadas, sobretudo a partir das considerações feitas por Josefina Ludmer (2013), Florencia Garramuño (2014) e Alberto Giordano (2010). Para a análise de Distancia de rescate, são suportes essenciais os estudos de Leone (2016; 2017) sobre o imaginário rural argentino, uma vez que no livro é apresentada uma problemática que envolve a relação humana com o ambiente natural do pampa gaúcho, e nele são evidenciadas ações do mercado capitalista que violam o ecossistema do campo e transformam as formas de ser e estar neste território em corrupção. Assim, ao final, percebe-se o delineamento de uma zona hostil para a vida humana, que causa o apagamento da identificação de alguns sujeitos com o território e deforma aqueles que persistem em viver nele. Dessa forma, quanto às territorialidades latinoamericanas, os três romances traçam territórios que sofrem com a ausência do poder do Estado, a presença de empreendimentos capitalistas nas regiões rurais, formas de violência no cotidiano privado e público, forças que corrompem a humanidade dos sujeitos e com a melancolia de uma previsão de futuro perverso e cada vez mais excludente.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Artes e LetrasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em LetrasUFSMBrasilLetrasAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessSamanta SchweblinTerritórioDesterritorializaçãoLiteratura contemporâneaAmérica LatinaTerritoryDeterritorializationContemporary literatureLatin AmericaCNPQ::LINGUISTICA, LETRAS E ARTES::LETRASDinâmicas territoriais em Distancia de rescate, de Samanta Schweblin: considerações sobre o território latino-americanoTerritorial dynamics in Samanta Schweblin’s Distancia de rescate: considerations about latin american territoryinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisFelippe, Renata Farias dehttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5454806173934935Alves, Wanderlan da SilvaSantos, Pedro Brumhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/9506583014337888Cruz, Lucas Sauzem800200000001600600600600600cc16bc20-5f06-4261-bab8-849571013ebe76ba0351-67b9-4ad9-b53c-b35df7a6c0e84985cdb6-d313-48bf-ad6c-1774445f32a2fb913493-7a29-4461-b55d-fa2c010a0ffereponame:Manancial - Repositório Digital da UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGLETRAS_2023_CRUZ_LUCAS.pdfDIS_PPGLETRAS_2023_CRUZ_LUCAS.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf816361http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/28274/1/DIS_PPGLETRAS_2023_CRUZ_LUCAS.pdfaee50e9b5b9664ff6cd1a23345129d5cMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
