Caregivers were more than years old, should be present the day of application of the instrument be caregiver of patient under treatment by hemodialysis. A sociodemographic and clinical instrument and the scale of the Medical Outcomes Study were applied to patient and caregivers. The data collected was typed into a spreadsheet by means of double independent typing. For the processing and confection of the database was used Microsoft Excel. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 15.0. The Shapiro Wilk normality test was used and the significance criterion adapted was the 5%level. Student’s t test was also applied. Anova and Pearson correlation test. Ethical precepts were based on Resolution number 466/12. The sample studied was composed of 220 patients with chronical renal failure in hemodialysis, 55, 5% were male and 44, 5% female. The overall mean aged was found to be at least 23, 35 years and a maximum of 89, 41 years. In the evaluation of social support, it was found that patient with higher education, married, who know how to read, who work, with leisure activities, have grater social support. The sample of caregivers who accompany patients with renal chronic failure during the hemodialysis sessions. The majority of caregivers were female (93,8%) mean age 45.07 ((± 12,71) years, minimum. Only one of the interviewees was male, aged 37 years. Statistical significance was observed between the mean score of the material factor and the educational variable, affective score and the variable material status and leisure emotional score and the variable material status and work information score and the variable residence type and score social interaction in relation to the variable material status, type of residence and leisure. Nursing actions are necessary for this population that present lower scores of social support.

Por ser uma doença silenciosa, por vezes, pode passar despercebida pela pessoa, o que pode levá-la a ter que iniciar o tratamento dialítico. O objetivo deste estudo é avaliar o apoio social presente no cotidiano e no cuidado de pacientes renais crônicos em hemodiálise e cuidadores familiares. Trata-se de uma pesquisa com abordagem quantitativa, transversal. Foram incluídos 220 pacientes portadores de doença renal crônica em hemodiálise e 16 cuidadores familiares, atendidos em uma clínica renal no período de coleta de dados (julho a outubro de 2016), com idade superior a 18 anos, em tratamento hemodialítico a pelo menos quatro meses, e sem alterações auto e alo psíquicas. Os cuidadores tinham mais de 18 anos, deveriam estar presentes no dia de aplicação dos instrumentos, ser cuidador de paciente em tratamento por hemodiálise. Foi aplicado um instrumento sociodemográfico e clínico e a escala do Medical Outcomes Study para pacientes e cuidadores. Os dados coletados foram digitados em uma planilha por meio de dupla digitação independente. Para o processamento e confecção do banco de dados utilizou-se o Microsoft Office Excel. Na análise estatística utilizou-se o software SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Sciences) versão 15.0. Empregou-se o teste de normalidade Shapiro-Wilk e o critério de determinação de significância adotado foi o nível de 5%. Também aplicou-se o teste t de Student, Anova e o teste de correlação de Pearson. Os preceitos éticos foram baseados na Resolução nº 466/12. O projeto foi submetido à apreciação de Comitê de Ética de Pesquisa, sendo aprovado sob parecer nº 1.610.996. Na amostra estudada 55,5% eram do sexo masculino e 44,5 do sexo feminino. A média geral de idade encontrada foi de no mínimo 23,35 anos e máximo de 89,41 anos. Na avaliação do apoio social identificou-se que pacientes com maior escolaridade, casados, que sabem ler, que trabalham, com residência urbana ou rural, com atividades de lazer, possuem um maior apoio social. A amostra de cuidadores foi composta por 16 cuidadores familiares que acompanhavam os pacientes durante as sessões de hemodiálise, A maioria dos cuidadores eram do sexo feminino (93,8%), com média de idade de 45,07 (±12,71) anos, mínimo 22 anos e máximo de 64 anos. Apenas um dos entrevistados era do sexo masculino, com idade de 37 anos. Observou-se significância estatística entre o escore médio do fator material e a variável escolaridade, escore afetivo e a variável estado civil e lazer, escore emocional e a variável estado civil e trabalho, escore de informação e a variável tipo de residência e escore de interação social em relação a variável estado civil, tipo de residência e lazer. Assim, ações na enfermagem fazem-se necessárias a esta população que apresenta menores escores de apoio social,porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências da SaúdePrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUFSMBrasilEnfermagemAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessDoença renal crônicaEnfermagemDiálise renalApoio socialCuidadores familiaresChronic renal diseaseNursingRenal dialysisSocial supportFamily caregiversCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMAvaliação do apoio social percebido por pacientes com doença renal crônica em hemodiálise e cuidadores familiaresEvaluation of social support for the person with chronic renal failure on hemodilysis and for the family cargiversinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisPerlini, Nara Marilene Oliveira Girardonhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4867558399150837Beuter, Margridhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/5998003502233212Andolhe, Rafaelahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/1631718462183919Stumm, Eniva Miladi Fernandeshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/6324085186499342http://lattes.cnpq.br/5127473095823235Cruz, Tarzie Hübner da400400000000600cdd52206-1dfa-44b8-b51d-c7d35924304a25525a74-6c7c-4731-930b-5b2ba82cc157026f4f98-55ac-4cb6-8bbe-fc39e88f5218315048e5-d17d-4948-a94b-6a4b92bf950c9f3fc742-4985-4858-862a-cd93ed2c67bdreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2017_CRUZ_TARZIE.pdfDIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2017_CRUZ_TARZIE.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf854876http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/17900/1/DIS_PPGENFERMAGEM_2017_CRUZ_TARZIE.pdf39a3dcff074040e669ffd66626e7963dMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
