Resumo: The teaching of the work context of university teaching is complex and multidimensional, which coexist demands permeated by dimensions of social, political and economic. The reconfiguration of the working world permeated by the changes brought about by globalization and information revolution has generated extensive discussion about the intensification of intellectual work, which lead to a new paradigm of production and consumption of knowledge. Recent research has associated questions about the precariousness of work and the productivism culture as important factors for the disease in the context of university teaching. However, there are few studies that deal with the triad work / health / disease to investigate realities of different scenarios, in terms of legislation, culture, and economy, as an emerging country like Brazil and other developed as Portugal. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze the critical indicators of disease in the university teaching job dimensions in the context of a Brazilian IES (UFSM) and another Portuguese (ULISBOA). This research can be classified as study explanatory case, the research strategy is the comparative character. Data collection occurred through the tool provided by google drive, which allowed the questionnaire was sent directly to teachers belonging to the UFSM and ULISBOA. In addition to the data related to social and professional profiles were applied scales belonging to the inventory of work and ITRA disease risk. We obtained 326 responses, with 251 teachers UFSM and 75 of ULISBOA teachers. The results are surprising in that it reflects a scenario that combines elements similar to the two universities, among them stands out the evaluation in severe level of the corresponding factor to cognitive cost, which suggests that, in both contexts, the overhead cognitive given by intensifying work transcends aspects locally contextualized. At the same time, the results show worst reality of the teachers participating ULISBOA due to reviews in critical or serious level given to most factors. In that matches the analyzes for UFSM, there is the existence of significant discrepancy between men and women, with regard to perceptions of work-related factors measured at ITRA, being the predominant factor for gender differences indicated with unfavorable to reality women's.

A reconfiguração do mundo do trabalho permeada pelas mudanças trazidas pela globalização e revolução informacional tem gerado ampla discussão a cerca da intensificação do trabalho intelectual, que levam a um novo paradigma de produção e consumo do conhecimento. Pesquisas recentes têm associado questões sobre a precarização do trabalho e a cultura do produtivismo como fatores preponderantes para o adoecimento no âmbito do magistério superior. No entanto, faltam estudos que tratem da tríade trabalho/saúde/doença que investiguem realidades entre cenários distintos, em termos de legislação, cultura, e economia, como de um país emergente como o Brasil e outro desenvolvido como Portugal. Diante disso, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo analisar os indicadores críticos de adoecimento nas dimensões do trabalho do magistério superior nos contextos de uma IES brasileira (UFSM) e outra portuguesa (ULISBOA). Esta pesquisa pode ser classificada como estudo de caso explanatório, cuja estratégia de pesquisa é de caráter comparativo. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio da ferramenta disponibilizada pelo google drive, que permitiu o envio do questionário diretamente aos docentes pertencentes à UFSM e ULISBOA. Além dos dados relacionados ao perfil social e profissional foram aplicadas as escalas pertencentes ao inventário sobre trabalho e riscos de adoecimento ITRA. Foram obtidos 326 questionários respondidos, sendo 251 de docentes da UFSM e 75 de docentes da ULISBOA. Os resultados surpreendem, na medida em que refletem um cenário que mescla elementos semelhantes às duas universidades, dentre eles destaca-se a avaliação em nível grave do fator correspondente ao custo cognitivo, o que leva a crer que, em ambos os contextos, a sobrecarga cognitiva dada pela intensificação do trabalho transcende os aspectos localmente contextualizados. E, ao mesmo tempo, os resultados denotam realidade mais desfavorável aos docentes participantes da ULISBOA, devido às avaliações em nível crítico ou grave dada à maioria dos fatores. No que condiz às análises referentes à UFSM, destaca-se a existência de considerável discrepância entre homens e mulheres, no que se refere às percepções dos fatores relacionados ao trabalho mensurados pelo ITRA, sendo o fator gênero preponderante para as diferenças apontadas com realidade desfavorável às mulheres.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de TecnologiaPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de ProduçãoUFSMBrasilEngenharia de ProduçãoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessPsicodinâmica do trabalhoAdoecimento no magistério superiorInventário sobre trabalho e riscos de adoecimentoPsychodynamics of workIllness in university teachingInventory of work and risks of illnessCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA DE PRODUCAOFatores e indicadores críticos para o adoecimento no magistério superiorFactors and indcadores critical for teaching in higher illnessinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisZanini, Roselaine Ruviarohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4332331006565656Vicini, LorenaTraverso, Luciana DaviHoffmann, Celina Franco300800000005600600600b5af5cd4-250e-4e42-8491-f0c3fd2656f5b52c5a6b-6746-45a4-bf7f-233692b6f0b93c596f70-aa5e-45df-ad84-826d581015e234e39893-a2eb-4cd2-ba41-851ec49d78a9reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGEP_2015_HOFFMANN_CELINA.pdfDIS_PPGEP_2015_HOFFMANN_CELINA.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf403212http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/21508/1/DIS_PPGEP_2015_HOFFMANN_CELINA.pdf3d6a824e373e4a4b52df7dd225d62d54MD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
