Resumo: The stock of biomass and nutrients has been the basis of many studies in forestry, particularly those that assess the nutritional sustainability of the system, however, there are few studies on this basis in mixed plantings in the final rotation. Given this, the present study was to evaluate the biomass and nutrients for the hybrid Eucalyptus urograndis and Acacia mearnsii in monospecific and mixed plantings, at 9 years old. For this, we carried out the study in the experimental area in the city of Pinheiro Machado/RS, which consisted of 3 treatments with pure and mixed plantation of Eucalyptus urograndis (E) and Acacia mearnsii (A) (100% E, 100 % A, 50% E + 50% A), in a randomized blocks with four repetitions. For dendrometric evaluation, the DAP all individuals is gauged and height 20% of individuals, establishing a ratio of height according to the diameter to estimate the height of the remaining individuals. To estimate the stock of nutrients in the soil were opened three trenches in the center of each plot to block 1, 2 and 3. The above-ground biomass was determined by reference to the average tree in each plot based on DAP species in planting. CUB was calculated by the ratio of the biomass and the amount of each component of the nutrient and biomass estimate of nutrient removal by harvesting the biomass was made for three scenarios. The growth of Acacia mearnsii was higher in mixed stands as compared to monospecific, but the hybrid Eucalyptus urograndis showed lower growth in mixed planting. The stock of available soil N to 60 cm depth was higher in mixed stands as compared to monospecific planting hybrid Eucalyptus urograndis. Analogous to growth, the hybrid Eucalyptus urograndis stock showed lower biomass in the mixed stand compared to their monospecific planting, since the Acacia mearnsii presented accumulation of higher biomass in mixed planting. Acacia mearnsii showed higher amounts of nutrients in the mixed stand when compared to its monoculture and the reverse was observed for the hybrid Eucalyptus urograndis. Wood was the component that larger CUB values for all analyzed nutrients. Removing only the commercial stem wood it is characterized as the best biomass harvesting stage in order to reduce the impact of nutrition and nutritional activity sustainability of the site.

Diante disto, o presente trabalho teve por objetivo avaliar a biomassa e os nutrientes para o híbrido Eucalyptus urograndis e Acacia mearnsii em plantios monoespecíficos e mistos, aos 9 anos de idade. Para isso, realizou-se o estudo em área experimental no município de Pinheiro Machado/RS, a qual era constituída por 3 tratamentos, com plantio puro e misto de Eucalyptus urograndis (E) e Acacia mearnsii (A) (100% E, 100% A, 50%E + 50%A), em um delineamento de blocos ao acaso com 4 repetições. Para a avaliação dendrométrica, aferiu-se o DAP de todos os indivíduos e altura de aproximadamente 20% dos indivíduos, estabelecendo uma relação da altura em função do diâmetro para estimar a altura dos demais indivíduos. Para estimativa do estoque de nutrientes no solo foram abertas 3 trincheiras no centro de cada parcela, para o bloco 1, 2 e 3. A biomassa acima do solo foi determinada tendo como referência a árvore média de cada parcela baseada no DAP da espécie no plantio. O CUB foi calculado pela razão entre a biomassa e a quantidade de nutriente de cada componente da biomassa e a estimativa de remoção de nutrientes pela colheita da biomassa foi feita para três cenários. O crescimento da Acacia mearnsii mostrou-se superior no plantio misto quando comparado com o plantio monoespecífico, porém o híbrido Eucalyptus urograndis apresentou crescimento inferior no plantio misto. O estoque de N disponível no solo até 60 cm de profundidade foi maior no plantio misto quando comparado ao plantio monoespecífico, do híbrido Eucalyptus urograndis. Análogo ao crescimento, o híbrido Eucalyptus urograndis apresentou estoque de biomassa inferior no plantio misto quando comparado ao seu plantio monoespecífico, já a Acacia mearnsii apresentou acúmulo de biomassa superior no plantio misto. A Acacia mearnsii apresentou maiores quantidades de nutrientes no plantio misto quando comparado ao seu monocultivo e o inverso foi observado para o híbrido Eucalyptus urograndis. A madeira foi o componente que apresentou maiores valores do CUB para todos os nutrientes analisados. A remoção somente da madeira comercial do tronco se caracteriza como o melhor cenário de colheita de biomassa visando a redução do impacto nutricional desta atividade e a sustentabilidade nutricional do sítio.Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, FAPERGSporUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências RuraisPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia FlorestalUFSMBrasilRecursos Florestais e Engenharia FlorestalAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessFixação biológica de nitrogênioNutrição florestalSustentabilidade nutricionalSolos florestaisBiological nitrogen fixationForest nutritionNutritional sustainabilityForest soilsCNPQ::CIENCIAS AGRARIAS::RECURSOS FLORESTAIS E ENGENHARIA FLORESTALBiomassa e nutrientes do híbrido Eucalyptus urograndis e Acacia mearnsii em plantios monoespecíficos e mistosBiomass and nutrients of hybrid Eucalyptus urograndis and Acacia mearnsii in plantations monospecific and mixedinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisSchumacher, Mauro Valdirhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/4577505947479643Brun, Eleandro Joséhttp://lattes.cnpq.br/8251362510914061Viera, Márciohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3460324370874535http://lattes.cnpq.br/2345476359987462Ludvichak, Aline Aparecida50020000000360066a4f294-3de9-4e2f-a787-e09bce097e3b2715fc50-75d4-4800-8a94-b2bba41b8b5137b6b01b-abf4-4c71-a7f8-8064c3ae7914f102aaeb-2356-473b-8a3f-b63432bdeb30reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMCC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
