Resumo: | Aphasia consists of disorders characterized by changes in communications processes, such that speech, comprehension, reading and writing may be affected. It should be noted that argumentation is an inherent mechanism of human language, since this resource is used to a lesser or greater degree in all communicative situations. Since linguistics studies human language, it is also the responsibility to investigate aphasia - understood as language dissolution, engaging in dialogue with other areas of knowledge, especially those related to health. In this context, the objective is to investigate linguistic-enunciative aspects indicative of argumentation in the language of subjects with aphasia, so that these aspects can be used as characteristics of types of aphasia according to Jakobson. For the theoretical framework, we adopted the postulates on argumentation proposed by Ducrot (1972, 1981, 1987), Koch (2011, 2022, 2023), Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca (2005) and Fiorin (2022). To understand aphasia, we drew on the contributions of Jakobson (1973), Coudry (1986, 1992, 2002, 2018), among others. Methodologically, this research is qualitative and exploratory in nature, using an inductive method. For its development, an activity was carried out with a theme that would spark the interest of participants with aphasia from the Interdisciplinary Coexistence Group (GIC) at UFSM, in order to encourage them to take a stand. The enunciations produced during this activity were collected in audiovisual material. Subsequently, six situations, composed of enunciative facts, from four subjects were selected and orthographically transcribed, constituting our corpus. The analyses were based on the identification of argumentative linguistic resources used by subjects with aphasia, considering the types of aphasia, from Jakobson’s (1973) perspective. As a result, in the similarity disorder, it was observed the recurrence of arguments based on the structure of reality (causality and facts), in an inductive manner and focused on the image of ethos, as well as the use of argumentative operators, presuppositional and polyphonic elements. In the contiguity disorder, arguments based on fact, inductive reasoning and indices of polyphony were identified. Nonverbal resources, when used, complemented the arguments presented orally by the research subjects. |
