Resumo: This research identifies the possibilities for transforming an area of interest in UFO studies into a viable and sustainable tourist itinerary, welcomed by the local population, financially profitable and environmentally conscious, thereby introducing a new form of tourist attraction to the city and providing a new income source for the local community. Based on a case study, which involved regular visits to possible sighting locations, the creation of tour maps and location maps using the Geographic Information System (GIS) QGIS, and a tour map designed by the author highlighting the points along the “Route of the Lights”. It also considers the possibility of creating a UFO tourism itinerary for the town of Caçapava do Sul, located in the central region of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, known nationally as the “Brazilian copper capital”, where the Camaquã Mines are situated: a region that attracts a large number of people interested in sightings and ufology researchers.

Elaborado a partir de um estudo de caso, onde foram feitas visitas periódicas aos locais de possíveis avistamentos, criados mapas do roteiro e localidades a partir do Sistema de Informação Geográfica (SIG) o QGIS e por mim uma arte do roteiro onde ficam destacados os pontos da “Rota das Luzes”.
