Resumo: This study aimed to identify how women were stereotyped in comedy TV Shows from the 1970s shown on TV Globo. Specifically, TV Shows Faça Humor, Não Faça Guerra (1970), Satiricom (1974), Chico City (1977) and O Planeta dos Homens (1980 and 1981). With film analysis methodology applied to particularity of fragment and repetition of television aesthetics, an internal and external analysis was undertaken jointly based in Penafria (2009) and Aumont & Marie (2004). Through bibliographic research and articles in newspaper O Globo in 1970s, the external analysis investigated cultural matrixes that formed the genre of comedy in TV Globo. Guided by the first map of the cultural mediations of communication thought by Martín-Barbero (2015), we verified the historical, aesthetic and narrative impacts of Teatro de Revista, Chanchada and radio humor in TV Shows analyzed. The impact of Military Government Censorship, as well as feminist and women's movements known as the "second wave", on the routine production of these programs was also investigated. It was also identified that the TV Shows presented themselves as an instance of masculinized comedy, having as main protagonists men comedians. For internal analysis, we put the comedy (television genres) as producer and reproducer of stereotypes, explaining how processes of representing the stereotype cross the comical dimension, qualifying stereotyping concept. This concept was put on the perspective of the Other representation (WOODWAARD, 2003), through fetishism (BHABHA, 1998), in identity construction across constitutive outside (HALL, 1996; 2016), in an condensation and transgression environment (ECO, 1989) which is used to recognize norms or to correct of the represented subject or group (BERGSON, 2001). Organized into 4 (four) categories according to a hierarchy that considers perceptions of women's protagonist in each comical scene, a mosaic of representations was observed in internal analysis, noting some patterns: the woman as an unfaithful wife, as a fatal seductress, as consumerists and in searching a man, responding to a male ideology about the female. While it was noticed in TV Show O Planeta dos Homens (1980 and 1981) some sketches and double acts which presented jokes from female point of view, revealing a space in dispute.

Com a metodologia da análise fílmica aplicado a particularidade de fragmento e repetição da estética televisiva, empreendeu-se uma análise interna e externa conjuntamente, baseada em Penafria (2009) e Aumont e Marie (2004). Através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e de matérias do jornal O Globo na década de 1970, a análise externa investigou as matrizes culturais que formaram o gênero de humor na TV Globo. Conduzidos pelo mapa das mediações de Martín-Barbero (2015), verificamos os impactos históricos, estéticos e narrativos do Teatro de Revista, da Chanchada e do humor radiofônico nos programas analisados. Ainda investigou-se o impacto da Censura do Governo Militar, bem como dos movimentos feministas e de mulheres conhecidos como a “segunda onda”, na rotina de produção desses programas. Também foi identificado que os programas se apresentavam como uma instância de comédia masculinizada, tendo como principais protagonistas comediantes homens. Para a análise interna, localizamos a comédia, enquanto gênero televisivo, como produtora e reprodutora de estereótipos, elucidando como os processos de representação do estereótipo atravessam a dimensão do humor, qualificando o conceito de estereotipagem. A estereotipagem cômica pode ser pensada na representação do Outro (WOODWAARD, 2003), através do fetichismo (BHABHA, 1998), enquanto exterior constitutivo de uma identidade (HALL, 1996; 2016), em um ambiente de condensação e transgressão (ECO, 1990), que se assenta no reconhecimento das normas ou na correção do sujeito ou grupo representado (BERGSON, 2001). Organizados em 4 (quatro) categorias segundo uma hierarquia que considera percepções de protagonismos da mulher em cada quadro cômico, observou-se um mosaico de representações na análise interna, notando alguns padrões: a mulher enquanto esposa infiel, enquanto sedutora fatal, enquanto consumistas e em procura de um homem, respondendo a um ideário masculino sobre o feminino. Ao passo que foi percebido no programa O Planeta dos Homens (1980 e 1981) alguns quadros em que apresentavam piadas do ponto de vista feminino, revelando um ambiente em disputa.porUniversidade Federal de Santa MariaCentro de Ciências Sociais e HumanasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em ComunicaçãoUFSMBrasilComunicaçãoAttribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 Internationalhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessEstereótipoRepresentaçãoGêneroComédiaProgramas humorísticoStereotypeRepresentationGenderComedyTV ShowsCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::COMUNICACAOA estereotipagem na representação cômica – a mulher no humor da TV Globo de 1970 a 1981The stereotyping in comical representation – the women in comedyTVshows of Globo television from 1970 to 1981.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisTomaim, Cássio dos Santoshttp://lattes.cnpq.br/3376343720313755Kornis, Mônica Almeidahttp://lattes.cnpq.br/2848113775438544Balieiro, Fernando de Figueiredohttp://lattes.cnpq.br/1754073430664136http://lattes.cnpq.br/1511199563430909Lino, Bruno de Castro6009000000086005bf02e20-83ea-4d22-aea7-b4a917abd122f76254d5-47a2-4252-8418-37f8ffa74ce1668830f1-51f6-4040-9676-a8fbad348a923d7ffe16-3385-4d7f-befb-20793a803ad3reponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações do UFSMinstname:Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM)instacron:UFSMORIGINALDIS_PPGCOMUNICACAO_2019_LINO_BRUNO.pdfDIS_PPGCOMUNICACAO_2019_LINO_BRUNO.pdfDissertação de Mestradoapplication/pdf2966660http://repositorio.ufsm.br/bitstream/1/17100/1/DIS_PPGCOMUNICACAO_2019_LINO_BRUNO.pdf99b55e17ad1b91771e0ef96c7577bc8bMD51CC-LICENSElicense_rdflicense_rdfapplication/rdf+xml;
