Resumo: The therapeutic alliance has been considered a central element in psychotherapy treatment process and, according to psychoanalytic literature, it is established based on previous experience in which it was possible to interact with another person – for example, the mother-baby relationship. According to psychoanalytic authors, healthy early bonds would be predictors of strong therapeutic alliance, which provides patient with identification with the therapist, internalization of new behavior patterns, and higher levels development of resilience. This study is a cross-sectional study of association that sought to relate the parental relationships in childhood, quality of therapeutic alliance and resilience levels in a sample of 20 patients under Analytical Guidance Psychotherapy treatment, to understand if a good bond in childhood determines a good therapeutic alliance formation and if it would be associated with satisfactory resilience levels. The patients were evaluated, anonymously, through the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), the Revised Helping Alliance Questionnaire (HAq-II), the Resilience Scale (RS) and a sociodemographic questionnaire. However, our study found a low prevalence of optimal care, both maternal and paternal, a higher prevalence of negligent paternal attachment, low levels of resilience, and yet a strong therapeutic alliance.

Segundo os autores psicanalíticos, os vínculos precoces saudáveis seriam preditores de uma aliança terapêutica forte, a qual proporciona ao paciente uma identificação com o terapeuta, internalização de novos padrões de comportamento e o desenvolvimento de níveis mais altos de resiliência. Trata-se de um estudo transversal de associação que buscou relacionar os vínculos parentais na infância, a qualidade da aliança terapêutica e os níveis de resiliência em uma amostra de 20 pacientes em tratamento de Psicoterapia de Orientação Analítica, a fim de compreender se o bom vínculo na infância determina a formação de uma boa aliança terapêutica e se esse estaria associado a níveis satisfatórios de resiliência. Os pacientes foram avaliados, de forma anônima, através do Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI), do Revised Helping Alliance Questionnaire (HAq-II), do Resilience Scale (RS) e de um questionário sociodemográfico.
