Resumo: | This research in Visual Poetics aims at the creation and development of audiovisual installation works through the investigation of identities grounded in post-virtuality. Constituted as exploratory research, this proposed work seeks to highlight the importance of personal identity development and how, through the use of various technologies, ways of perceiving human existence are made possible based on concepts and practices employed in Contemporary Art. The works developed in this research act as markers of the creative and migratory process of identity, namely in order of execution "Where I am?", "Co.l3t1v.0_mp3" (2023-2025), and "ΛN0M_@L1Δ::C0DΞX_G3N0Mª_CRYPT" (2025). The body of work reflects the theoretical-poetic hybridization surrounding reflections on the emergent possibilities concerning human identity created by technological advancement and the impacts present in the post-virtual everyday. Through the poetic productions, the research seeks to materialize the idea of the conscious transit of individual consciousness — identity — between the physical (analog) world and the virtual (digitized) world. Thus, the research characterizes the artist's viewpoint regarding new possibilities of individual identity constitution as a being conscious of its actions amidst media, processes, and production techniques, while simultaneously stimulating reflections on concepts of identity and ways of thinking about new models of bodies to be discussed. |
