Resumo: This dissertation seeks to understand in the work The birth of tragedy, by Friedrich Nietzsche, the elements and notes related to the theater present in this work. The method used to understand and address the specificity of theatrical art in his work was the decrease of philosophical commentators and the absorption of texts of professionals linked to literature and theater. In addition, the reading of the authors' pieces cited by Nietzsche served as the basis for understanding references about comedies and tragedies. In these particularities, the Aristophanes comdographer and the philosopher Aristotle are highlighted in their influences on Nietzsche and provide a more extended interpretation of theatrical art. The next effort lies in nietzschiana's aesthetic perspective of her first work in contemporaneity, recognizing it in theatrical works.

O método utilizado para compreender e abordar a especificidade da arte teatral em sua obra foi o da diminuição dos comentadores filosóficos e a absorção de textos de profissionais ligados à literatura e ao teatro. Além disso, a leitura das peças dos autores citados por Nietzsche serviu de base para o entendimento das referências acerca das comédias e das tragédias. Nessas particularidades, o comediógrafo Aristófanes e o filósofo Aristóteles são realçados em suas influências sobre Nietzsche e proporcionam uma interpretação mais estendida da arte teatral.
