Resumo: | This dissertation contains two studies that were developed during the master's degree. Study 1: A systematic review with meta-analysis was performed initially. The title of the article is "Supervised Physiotherapy vs. Home Program After Distal Radius Fracture: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis" and aims to assess current literature to determine if a home-based program is more effective than supervised physical therapy for patients after fracture of the distal radius. distal radio. Study 2: A functional evaluation study was carried out. The title of the manuscript is "Functional evaluation of patients submitted to surgical treatment of Radio Distal Fracture" and aims to verify the comparison between the fracture side and the contralateral limb for the measures of range of motion, muscular strength, muscular activity and fatigue in patients after six months postoperatively of radio distal fracture; to verify if there is an association between the force measurements and electromyographic measurements in the patients after six months postoperatively of distal radius fracture; and verify if there is an association between the positive and negative affection Scale Scales, Kinesiophobia Cover Scale, Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation and pain catastrophic scale with force and electromyography measures. We conclude that there is a difference between the fracture side and the contralateral limb for the measures of range of motion of wrist extension, muscle strength, muscular activity and fatigue in patients after six months postoperatively of distal radius fracture. It presented a positive correlation of association between electromyography measurements, dynamometry and the scales evaluated. |

Estudo 1: Foi realizada inicialmente uma revisão sistemática com metanálise. O título do artigo é “Fisioterapia supervisionada versus programa domiciliar após fratura do rádio distal: revisão sistemática e metanálise” e tem como objetivo avaliar a literatura atual para determinar se um programa em casa é mais eficaz do que a fisioterapia supervisionada para pacientes após fratura do rádio distal. Concluímos que as duas intervenções são válidas desde que o profissional saiba avaliar o melhor para seu paciente com fratura do rádio distal. Estudo 2: Foi realizado um estudo de avaliação funcional. O título do manuscrito é “Avaliação funcional dos pacientes submetidos a tratamento cirúrgico de Fratura Distal de Rádio” e tem como objetivo verificar a comparação entre o lado da fratura e o membro contralateral para as medidas de amplitude de movimento, força muscular, atividade muscular e fadiga em pacientes após seis meses de pós-operatório da fratura distal de rádio; verificar se existe associação entre as medidas de força e medidas eletromiográficas nos pacientes após seis meses de pós-operatório de fratura distal de rádio; e verificar se existe associação entre as escalas de Escala de afetos positivo e negativo, Escala Tampa de Cinesiofobia, Patient-Rated Wrist Evaluation e escala de catastrofização da dor com as medidas de força e eletromiografia. Concluímos que existe diferença entre o lado da fratura e o membro contralateral para as medidas na amplitude de movimento de extensão de punho, força muscular, atividade muscular e fadiga em pacientes após seis meses de pós-operatório da fratura distal de rádio.
