Resumo: Currently, the situation of population health in Brazil is characterized by the change in the pattern of illness, mortality and accelerated demographic transition what causes growth in the occurrence of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the population. Among the NCDs stands out hypertension (SAH), due to its high prevalence, morbidity and mortality and broad therapeutic dimension, making it an alarming public health problem worldwide. In addition, non-adherence to treatment, aggravates the situation contributing to no control of blood pressure and increased risk factors in hypertensive patients. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the rate of adherence to treatment; characterize users with hypertension according to sociodemographic variables, economic, clinical and drug therapy; compare the socio-demographic, economic, clinical and drug therapy variables between members hypertensive and non-adherent to medication and identify factors associated with adherence to treatment according to sociodemographic variables, economic, clinical and drug therapy. This is a quantitative study, observational, descriptive and cross in which participated in 150 hypertensive registered in Hiperdia Program 29 Family Health Strategy (ESF), the city of Uberaba - MG. Data collection took place from March to July 2014 and the instruments used were: instrument for sociodemographic and clinical characterization, the Treatment Adherence Measure (MAT) and MARTIN-BAYARRE-GRAU Questionnaire (MBG). Data were submitted to descriptive analysis and chi-square test (p <0.05). Logistic regression model was used to analyze the predictors of adherence to medication by the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), version 17.0. This research was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of UFTM through the Platform Brazil, under No. 26422514.5.0000.5154 protocol. Adherence to isolated drug treatment was 90.7%, according to MAT and being 62.7% of total membership, 35.3% and 2.0% partial noncompliance, according MBG. The highest percentage of membership was among the male, old, married, living together, they had their own income and per capita family income of less than one salary. As well as those with complications, the Hiperdia registration time of more than five years, and adrenergic inhibitors used known treatment. The accession predictor of treatment according to the logistic regression was to have personal income. Considering the multiple factors that affect treatment adherence, the data presented contribute to the research of the elements that lead to improved treatment adherence, as is knowledge of the main characteristics of this population. Besides to the contribution to recovery and improvement of Primary Health Care in the prevention, treatment and control of hypertension, as well as in providing essential information to the lineup of health initiatives.

Besides to the contribution to recovery and improvement of Primary Health Care in the prevention, treatment and control of hypertension, as well as in providing essential information to the lineup of health initiatives.A situação da saúde da população brasileira, atualmente, caracteriza-se pela mudança no padrão de adoecimento, mortalidade e acelerada transição demográfica. O que ocasiona crescimento na ocorrência de doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNT) na população. Entre as DCNT, destaca-se a hipertensão arterial sistêmica (HAS), por sua elevada prevalência, morbimortalidade e ampla dimensão terapêutica, o que a torna um preocupante problema de saúde pública em todo mundo. Além disso, a não adesão ao tratamento, agrava a situação contribuindo para a falta de controle de níveis pressóricos e o aumento de fatores de risco nos hipertensos. Assim sendo, este estudo objetivou identificar adesão ao tratamento; caracterizar os usuários com HAS segundo as variáveis sociodemográficas, econômicas, clínicas e de terapêutica medicamentosa; comparar as variáveis sociodemográficas, econômicas, clínicas e de terapêutica medicamentosa entre os hipertensos aderentes e não aderentes ao tratamento medicamentoso e verificar os fatores associados à adesão ao tratamento segundo variáveis sociodemográficas, econômicas, clínicas e de terapêutica medicamentosa. Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, observacional, descritivo e transversal. Do qual, participaram 150 hipertensos cadastrados no Programa Hiperdia de 29 equipes da Estratégia de Saúde da Família (ESF), do município de Uberaba – MG. A coleta de dados ocorreu no período de março a julho de 2014 e os instrumentos utilizados foram: instrumento para a caracterização sociodemográfico e clínico, a Medida de Adesão ao Tratamento (MAT) e o Questionário MARTÍN-BAYARRE-GRAU (MBG). Os dados foram submetidos à análise descritiva e teste qui-quadrado (p<0,05). Para analisar as variáveis preditoras de adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso foi utilizado o modelo de regressão logística, por meio do Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), versão 17.0. Esta pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa da UFTM, por meio da Plataforma Brasil, sob o protocolo Nº 26422514.5.0000.5154. A adesão ao tratamento medicamentoso isolado foi de 90,7%, segundo a MAT e sendo 62,7% de adesão total, 35,3% parcial e 2,0 % não adesão, segundo MBG. O maior percentual de adesão foi entre os do sexo masculino, idosos, casados, que moravam acompanhados, que tinham renda própria e renda familiar per capita de menos de um salário. Bem como, aqueles com presença de complicações, tempo de cadastro Hiperdia de mais de cinco anos, que usavam inibidores adrenérgicos e conheciam o tratamento. Ter renda própria foi preditor da adesão ao tratamento segundo a regressão logística. Considerando os múltiplos fatores que interferem a adesão ao tratamento, os dados apresentados contribuem na investigação dos elementos que levam a melhoria da adesão ao tratamento, tal como o conhecimento das principais características dessa população. Além de, colaborar para valorização e aprimoramento da Atenção Básica em Saúde na prevenção, tratamento e controle da HAS, bem como, no fornecimento de informações essenciais à programação de iniciativas de saúde.application/pdfhttp://bdtd.uftm.edu.br/retrieve/995/Dissert%20Maysa%20A%20Ferreira.pdf.jpgporUniversidade Federal do Triângulo MineiroPrograma de Pós-Graduação Stricto Sensu em Atenção à SaúdeUFTMBrasilInstituto de Ciências da Saúde - ICS::Curso de Graduação em Enfermagemhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessHipertensão.Adesão à Medicação.Enfermagem.Atenção Primária à Saúde.Hypertension.Medication Adherence.Nursing.Primary Health Care.EnfermagemDeterminantes da adesão ao tratamento de usuários com hipertensão cadastrados no programa de hiperdia da Atenção Primária à SaúdeDeterminants of adherence to treatment of hypertension users registered in HIPERDIA program of primary health careinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersioninfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisreponame:Biblioteca Digital de Teses e Dissertações da UFTMinstname:Universidade Federal do Triangulo Mineiro (UFTM)instacron:UFTMLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
