Avaliação morfométrica e imunohistoquímica em biópsias hepáticas de suínos (Sus scrofa) com reconstrução das vias biliares através da técnica de interposição do tubo de “Monti”

The obstruction of the biliary tree is a change that affects most of the human population in need of techniques that can increase the efficiency of the bile drainage, restoring bile flow. Thus, this study aimed to assess the technical effectiveness of bringing the tube "Monti" in restoring this flow in order to minimize the hepatic changes resulting from induced biliary obstruction period. Thus, seven Landrace pigs, 36 days old, underwent biliary tract obstruction and reconstruction of the same through the jejunal interposition with Monti tube. During the pre, post and reconstruction obstruction of the biliary tract, collected up liver tissue samples for immunohistochemistry and morphometric evaluation for liver cirrhosis (collagen I and III) and quantification of bile ducts (CK7). The amount of collagen I was not relevant to the morphometric analysis and the amount of collagen III and bile ducts was higher in the post obstruction when compared to the period of reconstruction of the biliary tract and pre obstruction, respectively. The obstruction period maintained higher levels of collagen III and bile ducts, decreasing after the reconstruction of the biliary tract. The conditions under which the study was suggested that the technique of interposing Monti tube was effective in restoring bile flow was decreased because of changes such as cirrhosis and bile duct hyperplasia.
