Resumo: This dissertation aims to understand if “putinism”, or yet, the regime headed by Vladimir Putin in Russia, could be called “populist” according to the idea carried out by Ernesto Laclau in “On populist reason” (2018). This scholar perceives populism in its ontological sense, which means, regardless of its ontic expressions. Therefore, the preliminary hypothesis assumed here is that putinism, just like “varguism”, “chavism” or “lulism”, can be considered an example of populism, one of the possible manifestations of this political logic. Such logic can be characterized by the division of social space into two large chains of equivalent and antagonistic demands. This division and articulation process between different social demands takes place along throughout the 2000s. Thus, the turning point that marks the beginning of Russian populism coincides with the popular manifestations of 2011-2012 and the election of Vladimir Putin for his third term in 2012.

Этот философ понимает популизм в онтологическом смысле, независимо от его онтических проявлений. Наша предварительная гипотеза состоит в том, что путинизм, может рассматриваться как пример и одно из проявлений популизма, так же как и "варгасизм", "чавизм" или "лулизм". Такая логика может быть охарактеризована разделением социального пространства на две большие цепочки эквивалентных и антагонистических требований. Процесс разделения и артикуляции различных социальных требований происходит на протяжении 2000-х годов. Точка перелома, знаменующая начало российского популизма, совпадает с демонстрациями 2011-2012 годов и избранием Владимира Путина на его третий срок также в 2012 году.Dissertação (Mestrado)Esta dissertação tem como propósito compreender se o putinismo, ou melhor, o regime liderado por Vladimir Putin na Rússia pode ser considerado populista segundo a ideia desenvolvida por Ernesto Laclau na obra “On Populist Reason” (2018). Este autor compreende o populismo em seu sentido ontológico, ou seja, independentemente de suas manifestações ônticas. Portanto, a hipótese preliminarmente assumida aqui é a de que o putinismo, tal como o “varguismo”, “chavismo” ou “lulismo”, pode ser considerado um exemplo de populismo, uma das manifestações possíveis dessa lógica política. Tal lógica pode ser caracterizada pela divisão do espaço social em duas grandes cadeias de demandas equivalentes e antagônicas entre si. O processo de divisão e de articulação entre as diferentes demandas sociais se dá ao longo de toda a década de 2000.
