Níveis de lisina digestível em rações para galinhas poedeiras leves no período de 24 a 40 e de 42 a 58 semanas de idade

Two experiments were conducted in the Poultry Sector of the Department of Animal Science, Universidade Federal de Viçosa, to determine of digestible lysine requirements for laying hens from 24 to 40 (experiment 1) and 42 to 58 weeks of age (experiment 2). Were used in each experiment, two hundred eighty-eight Hy Line W-36 laying hens were distributed in a completely randomized design with six levels of digestible lysine (6.0; 6.6; 7.2; 7.8; 8.4 and 9.0), eight replicates and six birds per experimental unit (UE). The variables evaluated in each experiment were: feed intake (g/bird/day), digestible lysine intake (mg/bird/day), egg production (%), egg weight (g), egg mass (g/bird/day), feed conversion per egg mass (g/kg), feed conversion per dozen eggs (dz/kg), eggshell weight (g), yolk weight (g) and albumen weight (g) and weight body change (g). In experiment 1 there was linear effects from digestible lysine levels on feed intake and digestible lysine intake. The Linear Response Plateau model there was better adjustment of the data of the other variables evaluated, except on eggshell weight and albumen weight, which were not affected by dietary lysine levels. In experiment 2, there increase in the levels of digestible lysine in the diet linearly improved the digestible lysine intake. There were no effect of levels of digestible lysine in the diet on feed conversion per dozen eggs and on the weight eggshell. For the remaining variables, the Linear Response Plateau model was better adjustment of the data. The digestible lysine requirements of laying hens from 24 to 40 weeks of age is 8.48 g/kg and, in the period 42-58 weeks of age, 7.68 g/kg diet, values that correspond the daily intakes of digestible lysine 813 mg/bird and 730 mg/bird, respectively.
