The aim of this investigation is to assess the procedural indicators and result indexes in the first distance learning class of the Agricultural Technical Course (Curso Técnico em Agropecuária form the Brazilian Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IFET - Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia), campus Barbacena, Minas Gerais. This research intends to encourage discussions about the program directions, according to the aims proposed by of the e-Tec Brasil program, outlining a suitable trajectory to the emerging needs. For that purpose the procedural indicators were classified as docent formation , pedagogic material and pedagogic structure , and the results categorized as expansion and democratization of education , contribution for Secondary School and monitoring the egress s school and professional path. Such indicators were identified through two instruments: first analyzing the academic record information and the second analyzing questionnaires answered by docents, egresses and drop-outs. In order to measure the analysis we used descriptive statistics (frequency, table datacrossing, clustering, chi-squared distribution) besides the Kendall correlation and Friedman test for non-parametric data.Among the data measured we can highlight: necessity of docent training increasing to a permanent formation; adequacy of the pedagogical material; layout development of the pedagogic material, providing access to people with special needs; improvement of subjects concerning interdisciplinarity; adequacy of the hours of instruction; application of strategies to monitor the student s curricular and professional path in order to provide better permanence index for the other classes.Finally, we can conclude that the indicators revealed in this research can be considered as a guideline on the definition of new routes and strategies considering that the Program contributes to the improvement of the Brazilian educational scenery, making the evaluation and planning a constant practice aiming to guarantee the maintenance of the quality.
