The study boarded the outsourcing in Public Administration; the aim of this study is the best understanding about the outsourcing from the role of general assistant in Federal Schools from the called Zona da Mata Mineira . Knowing the situation of these workers and the perception of the services provided by them, this work can help the newest and deepest investigations about this important subject. About the understanding and explanation of the subject it was studied the concept, history, characteristics, final benefits and problems from the requirement of outsourcing seek following the law number 9632 from May 07th, 1998, which eliminated some positions of the structure from federal agencies and entities. The methodology used was consisted of quantitative and qualitative nature , it was interviewed outsourced employees from: Universidade Federal de Viçosa campus Viçosa, Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora campus Juiz de Fora, Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Sudeste de Minas Gerais (IF Sudeste MG) campi Juiz de Fora, Muriaé; Rio Pomba and Santos Dumont, in addition to the academic community , managers and responsible technicians linked to the outsource service from the mentioned institutions. During the analysis it was used the triangulation of data exposing the vision of managers, academic and outsourced community about the subject studied. With the result we are able to conclude at the conclusion that there are some administrative advantages in this process, but too much to be done until the outsourcing reach its purpose.
