Resumo: | This work studied the effects of the elements silicon, magnesium, aluminum, phosphorus and dregs contaminants and adjust the regression equations that describe its impact on individual performance drainability layer of lime mud. For this experiments were performed using a sample base of lime mud in which the elements objects of study were mixed . The dregs in the tanks was obtained from the dregs Fibria ® - Jacareí. Dregs are solid impurities consisting of sodium and calcium carbonates, coal combustion Incomplete Recovery Boiler, silica, metal sulfides and other salts from the wood. The aluminum was obtained from aluminum sulfate (Al2(SO4)3); magnesium from magnesium sulphate (MgSO4), the silicon from sodium silicate (Na2SiO3) and phosphorus was obtained from the disodium phosphate (Na2HPO4). The variation in concentrations of 0.15% to 0.75% silicon was sufficient to reduce the value at 6% dry solids in the mud and lime to increase the filtering time of the solution in more than two times. Magnesium concentrations between 0.27% to 0.87% reduced the amount of dry solid in 8% and increased by five times the filtering time. The presence of 0.3% aluminum drainability generated little increase in sludge, but values above 0.3% were enough to cause great loss of drainability. Since the low phosphorus concentrations of 0.01% increased by 0.5 times drainability time, but after this value the increase in filtration time was less than 10%. The presence of dregs in the mud caused an intense green coloration, although at concentrations higher than 10% did not cause significant impact of loss of solids. With the data obtained it was possible to fit regression equations with coefficients of determination (R2) always exceeded 80.7%. The presence of dregs generated no significant difference in drainability mud, the element phosphorus caused an initial loss in drainability but relatively small when compared with the observed effects of the elements Al, Si and Mg. The element aluminum drainability caused loss of lime mud only at concentrations above 0.6%, the elements silicon and magnesium, depending on the characteristics of reaction with water, had a significant negative effect on most of the lime mud drainability. With the adjusted model was possible to measure the increase in fuel consumption, depending on the concentration of components, and indicates great loss with the silicon and magnesium. |
