This master's thesis aims to analyze modern official documents referring to the listing of the city of Cordoba, located in southern Spain in the province of Andalusia, as a World Heritage Site (1994). In these documents, we will seek to investigate which view is perpetuated about Roman Antiquity. The sources chosen for this purpose are the UNESCO listed documents (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization) and the Cordoba Architecture Guide, produced by the Official College of Architects of Cordoba, Junta de Andalucía (2003). The first source, following the perspective of an international institution and the second a regional perspective. One of the characteristics of the city is the marks referring to the diversity of the people that inhabited it. In general, Córdoba has been influenced by Turdetans, Romans, Visigoths, Muslims, Christians and Jews throughout its millenary history. Therefore, it possibly contains characteristics of a multicultural city. Through this cutting, we intend to analyze such documents in order to understand how Córdoba is currently thought and how these sources refer to the period when it had the connotation of a patrician colony, in other words, it is intended to investigate how Roman antiquity it is thought through speeches made in official documents in this context. The documentary analysis will be done in the light of the evidential paradigm and the concept of persuasive aesthetics. The Learning Object goes against one of the pillars of the dissertation: the heritage, having as a theoretical basis the heritage education applied to the 6th grade from Elementary School.
