Resumo: | The nurse performs most of the care related to the clients. In this way, it is committed to the activity that interferes with the quality of the service provided. Due to the greater life expectancy, it is possible to find professionals from different lives, due to the same institution. Considering that work studies differ according to standards and professional profiles, it is necessary to analyze the values of employees in relation to the historical framework to the meaning of professional suitability to adapt to the work demand. This descriptive cross- sectional analytical study aimed to verify whether there are correlations as different in which nurses identify with their job satisfaction, identification as an objective in the work of subscribers and identification in the market of users inserted in the market If the release of generations to which it belongs, X or Y. The data they perceive, were apprehended from a distribution medium in three parts – sociodemographic availability, generational and Tis Scale. -line. The sample consisted of 392 Brazilian nurses working in the profession. The results allowed us to observe that there was a predominance of nurses who identified themselves in generation X, followed by Bomer, a minimum amount belonging to a generation Y and also those who fall into the generation of more than one generation. Among the characteristics of the Boomers and X generations in terms of job satisfaction, these are the closest. As they already have different satisfaction rates from each other, a fact that must be elaborated for other conclusions by the professional informed in the work routine. |

Desta forma, é essencial que esses profissionais estejam satisfeitos com a atividade que desempenham, visto que a satisfação interfere na qualidade do serviço prestado. Devido à maior expectativa de vida, é possível encontrar profissionais de diferentes gerações trabalhando em uma mesma instituição. Considerando que os valores e formas de trabalho divergem conforme as gerações dos profissionais, faz-se necessário analisar o quadro de colaboradores em relação ao recorte geracional e ao significado de satisfação profissional para adequar o perfil geracional à demanda de trabalho. Este estudo quantitativo, do tipo descritivo transversal analítico, teve como objetivo verificar se há correlações entre as diferentes gerações em que os enfermeiros se identificam e sua satisfação no trabalho, identificar a satisfação no trabalho de enfermeiros e identificar como os enfermeiros inseridos no mercado de trabalho se percebem acerca das gerações a que pertencem, Baby Boomers, X ou Y. Os dados foram coletados a partir de um questionário semiestruturado dividido em três partes – questionário sociodemográfico, questionário geracional e Escala de Satisfação (EST) –, disponibilizado em uma plataforma on-line. A amostra foi constituída por 392 enfermeiros brasileiros e atuantes na profissão. Os resultados obtidos permitiram observar que houve predominância de enfermeiros que se identificaram na geração X, seguido da geração Boomer, uma quantidade mínima pertencente a geração Y e ainda aqueles que se enquadraram em mais de uma geração. Dentre as características das gerações Boomers e X quanto à satisfação do trabalho, estas são as que mais se aproximam.
