In this text I worked with the main concern of contribute with the reflections about the didactics of the Historical-Critical Pedagogy in Physical Education and, perhaps, in the Education as a whole. For such task, I thought it necessary some theoretical foundations and debates, in order to clarify some basic questions for the understanding of Historical-Critical Pedagogy, since its initial elaboration, in the second half of the last century. Among these foundations, the reader of this text might find debates and notes on the urgency of methodological productions for the historical-critical conception, the debate on the role of public school and school education according to this chain, a little of the history of Historical-Critical Pedagogy, its philosophical aspects, its political orientation and its basis in Historical-Cultural Psychology. Physical Education teachers will also find a brief history of this area in Brazil, from its beginning to the present day; in a second moment, with a specific focus to the renovating movement of Physical Education and the main pedagogical conceptions/approaches of the Brazilian Physical Education. Moving to the end of the text, the reader will find a detailed analysis of the books Uma didática para a pedagogia histórico-crítica (A didactics for historical-critical pedagogy), from Professor João Luis Gasparin, and Metodologia do ensino de Educação Física (Physical Education Teaching Methodology), from Coletivo de Autores (SOARES, et al. 2012) and, from the analysis of these, which are the most publicized didactic works in Brazil, in Education, in the case of the Historical-Critical conception; and, in Physical Education, among all existing works, whatever the educational perspective, I made reflections on didactics for Historical-Critical Pedagogy and pointed out possible didactic paths according to the possibilities that this text offers and that my limitations allowed.
