Resumo: Through the following effort and work, and thorough research to be executed on the CEFET-MG Campus Nepomuceno-MG, I seek to understand the institutional work performed by actors in power, formally legitimated or not, looking at the implementation, conformity, or resistance to demands advected from the external organization center. For that, considering the "Verticalização do Ensino" subject as focus, taken, by law, as one of the objectives of the "Federal Network of Professional Education" belonging federal institutions, and supporting myself on the "Institutional Theory" optics, I'll develop this research, assembled with my institution members, looking to identify which obstacles could interfere with the work performed by educational masters in the "Campus Nepomuceno", and to encourage the vertical education among the Campus students. Going further, I also intend to identify the local existence of the, named by literature, "institutional entrepreneurs", actors or groups with power that may also be encouraged to cooperate with the verticalization purpose through institutional work performed by management. After careful analysis, under the "Teoria Institucional" (Institutional Theory) care, of the possessed field results, I bring forward the presented technical product as a normative established by the local management, which assembled a "Comissão Permanente" (Permanent Commission) on the based campus, and as a resultant to guide the "Verticalização no Ensino" (Education Verticalization) theme.

Para tanto, focalizando esforços no tema “Verticalização do Ensino”, que por força de lei é um dos objetivos das Instituições Federais de Ensino pertencentes a Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica e, apoiando-me na ótica da Teoria Institucional, realizarei pesquisa junto a servidores da instituição com o intuito de verificar quais obstáculos dificultam os gestores educacionais do Campus Nepomuceno promoverem trabalho institucional orientado a motivar a verticalização do ensino entre os discentes do campus. Indo além, pretendo identificar também se existem no locus estudado os nominados na literatura como “empreendedores institucionais”, ou seja, atores ou grupos com poder que podem ser, via trabalho institucional realizado pela gestão, motivados a cooperar com a proposta de verticalização.
