Resumo: Duranta erecta L. belongs to the Verbenaceae family and comprises species that are distributed in tropical and subtropical regions and which may exhibit the allelopathic effect due to secondary compounds that often do not allow other plants to grow around them. This species has in the literature reports of the presence of secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavonoids, acetophenone, coumarin, iridoids, diterpenes, triterpenes, saponins, glycines, phenolic glycosides and steroids; these compounds are important for the development and survival of plants acting as allelopathic or allelochemical compounds. Allelopathy is the influence of one individual on the other, either harming or favoring and it can be tested by means of bioassays using various parameters. Lactuca Sativa L. is a test plant used in bioassays because of its sensitivity to chemical agents, rapid germination, low sensitivity to variation of osmotic potentials and pH. This dissertation is presented in the form of chapters so that chapter 1 presents a brief review on the botanical characterization of Duranta erecta L., secondary metabolites of Duranta erecta L., allelopathy and chemoecology: plant / plant interaction, prune pruning gold, organic agriculture and the use of allelochemicals as bioherbicides, bioassays with Lactuca sativa L. and plant extracts. Chapter 2 is presented in the form of Article I and Article II. In article I, the objective was to study the phytotoxic properties of the leaves of Duranta erecta L. under two management forms (pruning and without pruning) in L. sativa L. using hot and cold aqueous extracts. The significant difference between the extraction methods and the management methods on the allelopathic effect on germination and initial growth of L. sativa L. was verified. The percentage of germination was affected 100% in the highest concentrations, and the germination speed was reduced in all treatments and initial growth of lettuce seedlings were drastically impaired, presenting several morphological abnormalities. The hot aqueous extract of D. erecta L. leaves underwent pruning significantly reduced germination and initial growth parameters. Article II had the purpose of studying the phytotoxic and cytogenotoxic properties of leaves and fruits of Duranta erecta L. using two forms of aqueous and ethanolic extraction. The aqueous and ethanolic extracts of leaves and fruits of Duranta erecta L. presented a phytotoxic effect on L. sativa L., since there was a reduction in the parameters of germination, initial growth and cellular proliferation when compared to the control.

Esta espécie possui na literatura relatos da presença de metabólitos secundários como os alcaloides, flavonoides, acetofenona, cumarina, iridoides, diterpenos, triterpenos, saponinas, glicídios, glicosídeos fenólicos e esteroides; estes compostos são importantes para o desenvolvimento e sobrevivência das plantas agindo como compostos alelopáticos ou aleloquímicos. A alelopatia é a influência de um indivíduo sobre o outro, seja prejudicando ou favorecendo e ela pode ser testada por meio de bioensaios utilizando diversos parâmetros. A Lactuca Sativa L. é uma planta-teste utilizada em bioensaios devido a sua sensibilidade a agentes químicos, a rápida germinação, a baixa sensibilidade à variação dos potenciais osmóticos e pH. Esta dissertação é apresentada em forma de capítulos de maneira que, o capítulo 1 apresenta uma breve revisão sobre a caracterização botânica da Duranta erecta L., metabólitos secundários da Duranta erecta L., alelopatia e quimioecologia: interação planta/planta, a poda do pingo-de-ouro, agricultura orgânica e utilização de aleloquímicos como bioherbicidas, bioensaios com Lactuca sativa L. e extratos vegetais. O capítulo 2 apresenta-se em forma de artigo I e artigo II. No artigo I objetivou-se estudar as propriedades fitotóxicas das folhas da Duranta erecta L. sob duas formas de manejo (com poda e sem poda) em L. sativa L. utilizando o extratos aquosos a quente e a frio. Foi verificado a diferença significativa entre os métodos de extração e as formas de manejo sobre o efeito alelopático na germinação e no crescimento inicial de L. sativa L.. A porcentagem de germinação foi afetada 100% nas maiores concentrações, e a velocidade de germinação foi reduzida em todos os tratamentos e o crescimento inicial das plântulas de alface foram drasticamente prejudicados, apresentando diversas anormalidades morfologicas. O extrato aquoso quente de folhas D. erecta L. submetidas a prática de poda reduziram significativamente os parâmetros de germinação e de crescimento inicial. O artigo II teve o propósito de estudar as propriedades fitótoxicas e citogenotóxicas das folhas e frutos de Duranta erecta L. empregando duas formas de extração aquosa e etanólica. Os extratos aquosos e etanólicos de folhas e frutos de Duranta erecta L. apresentaram efeito fitotóxico sobre L. sativa L., uma vez que houve redução nos parâmetros de germinação, crescimento inicial e proliferação celular quando comparados ao controle.application/pdfporUniversidade Federal de AlfenasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em Ciências AmbientaisUNIFAL-MGBrasilInstituto de Ciências da Naturezainfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/AlfaceBioensaiosTestes deToxicidadeÍndice MitóticoCromossomos –AberraçõesTECNOLOGIA DE ARQUITETURA E URBANISMO::ADEQUACAO AMBIENTALAção alelopática de extratos de Duranta erecta L. em sementes de Lactuca sativa L.info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion45422636031111392106006007840760342740530092reponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Alfenas - RiUnifalinstname:Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL)instacron:UNIFALMoreira, Letícia LeiteLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
