Resumo: The human sexual response is influenced by several biological, psychological, socioeconomic, cultural, religious, historic, among other, factors. It is known that during pregnancy woman's body goes through many changes, which can influence in their sexual function. Sexual changes in women may occur at various stages of the sexual response cycle, whether in desire, arousal, lubrication, or orgasm, which occurrence is peculiar during pregnancy. The present study aimed to evaluate the sexual function of women during pregnancy. The methodology used was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional and analytical approach. The sample consisted of 161 pregnant women at low risk who were treated at health units in the network of Primary Health in Alfenas-MG. Data were collected between October 2013 and January 2014, and two instruments were used: the first one for the characterization of participants composed by sociodemographic variables, obstetric and medical history related to sexual function, elaborated by the author; and the Sexual Quotient - Female Version to measure performance and sexual satisfaction of respondents. This investigation was approved by the Ethics Committee on Human Research of the Federal University of Alfenas. After collecting and tabulating the data, it was used the Statistical Package for Social Sciences software version 17.0 for descriptive analysis and statistical tests such as Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Mann-Whitney, Kruskal Wallis test, Student-Newman-Keuls and Spearman correlation coefficient. As a result, it was found that most of the women were between 18-30 years old, single, brown, Catholic, had concluded high school, and had laboral activity, with incomes between one and two minimum wages, and have no children. The frequency of sexual intercourse was between once to twice a week and the majority considered to have a good, very good and great / excellent sexual partner relationship. Regarding the correlations and associations between the QS-F and sociodemographic factors, obstetric history and sexual functions, variables: family income, education level, frequency of weekly sexual intercourse and consideration against the sexual relationship with the partner, showed significant statistics. Regarding the evaluation of the QS-F, pregnant women showed satisfactory performance concerning sexual activity with results from "good to excellent" and "fair to good". Given the results, it is necessary that the health professionals act in line with actions and interventions aimed at prevention, rehabilitation and the promotion of sexual health in the context of pregnancy. The nurse, for being part of the daily care, should establish effective communication about sexuality with its users during the offered service.

Sabe-se que no período gestacional o corpo feminino perpassa por muitas transformações, as quais podem influenciar em sua função sexual. As alterações sexuais na mulher podem ocorrer em várias fases do ciclo de resposta sexual, seja no desejo, na excitação, na lubrificação ou no orgasmo; cuja ocorrência é peculiar durante a gravidez. O presente estudo teve por objetivo avaliar a função sexual da mulher no período gestacional. A metodologia utilizada foi de abordagem quantitativa, descritiva, transversal e analítica. A amostra foi composta por 161 gestantes de risco habitual que foram atendidas em unidades de saúde da Rede de Atenção Primária à Saúde de Alfenas-MG. Os dados foram coletados entre outubro de 2013 a janeiro de 2014, sendo utilizados dois instrumentos: um primeiro para a caracterização das participantes composto por variáveis sociodemográficas, anamnese obstétrica e relacionadas às funções sexuais, elaborado pela autora; e o Quociente Sexual - Versão Feminina para mensurar o desempenho e a satisfação sexual das entrevistadas. Essa investigação foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa com Seres Humanos da Universidade Federal de Alfenas. Após a coleta e a tabulação dos dados, utilizou-se o Software Statistical Package for Social Sciences versão 17.0 para análise descritiva e testes estatísticos como teste de normalidade Shapiro-Wilk, de Mann-Whitney, Kruskal Wallis, Student-Newman-Keuls e o Coeficiente de correlação de Spearman. Como resultados, verificou-se que a maioria das gestantes apresentou idade entre 18 a 30 anos, solteiras, pardas, católicas, possuem ensino médio completo, exercem atividade trabalhista, com renda entre um a dois salários mínimos e não possuem filhos. A frequência da relação sexual foi entre uma a duas vezes por semana e a maioria considerou ter um relacionamento sexual com o parceiro entre bom, muito bom e ótimo/excelente. Em relação às correlações ou associações entre o QS-F e fatores sociodemográficos, anamnese obstétrica e funções sexuais, as variáveis: renda familiar, escolaridade, frequência da relação sexual semanal e consideração frente ao relacionamento sexual com o parceiro; apresentaram estatística significativas (P<0,05). Quanto à avaliação do QS-F as gestantes apresentaram desempenho satisfatório em relação à atividade sexual com resultados de “bom a excelente” e de “regular a bom”. Diante dos resultados, faz-se necessário que o profissional da saúde atue em consonância com ações e intervenções que visem à prevenção, à promoção e à reabilitação da saúde sexual no âmbito da gravidez. O Enfermeiro, por fazer parte do cotidiano do cuidado, deve estabelecer uma comunicação efetiva a respeito da sexualidade com seus usuários durante a assistência ofertada.Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais - FAPEMIGapplication/pdfporUniversidade Federal de AlfenasPrograma de Pós-Graduação em EnfermagemUNIFAL-MGBrasilEscola de Enfermageminfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Saúde SexualGravidezEnfermagem ObstétricaComportamento SexualENFERMAGEM::ENFERMAGEM OBSTETRICAAvaliação da função sexual da mulher no período gestacionalinfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion-32045805305363604936006006009032289400888962945-1527361517405938873reponame:Repositório Institucional da Universidade Federal de Alfenas - RiUnifalinstname:Universidade Federal de Alfenas (UNIFAL)instacron:UNIFALPereira, Marina CortezLICENSElicense.txtlicense.txttext/plain;
